This is a great Xbox One bundle. Whether u buy it for the Fortnite extras, or just for the special edition gradient purple console with the purple controller....GET THIS BUNDLE!!!!! It does everything its supposed to do and looks amazing while doing it. I was amazed when I took it out of the box. The purple goes from an impressive bright to a very deep shade from left to right. 1TB of storage is plenty to start. And Blu-ray playback looks great. Im not a huge fan of Fortnite but I seen this bundle and had to get it. No regrets at all. Only wish the controller was a little brighter, in low light it looks black. Shipped very quickly. It was exactly as expected. Appears to be brand new. I downloaded all my games off of my old xbox onto my harddrive so set up was easy and I had all my games available right away. The color is very dark on both the Xbox and the controller but that is fine with me. I didnt like the white Xbox 1S and I dont play fortnite so I bought this specifically for the unique xbox style. If your reading this you're probably reading other comments and I can not exintuate enough that the color is very dark. But sleek and stylish. Very happy with my purchase. NOTE: I had the original xbox 1 not a 1S and even though it was much bigger/bulkier and tended to get hot fast it was not as loud as the 1S this thing makes a pretty fair amount of noise. ... show more

    • Controller Batteries Not Included (BUMMER)
The gaming console was sent to me without the controller batteries. The controller can't be used without them. This was a Christmas gift, and now I will have to purchase batteries for the console to be used. Hopefully there won't be any other issues. I won't be able to tell until I get the batteries to complete the console's initial setup to find out. If anything else goes wrong, I will promptly return this console. BUMMER! Update12/27/22: I ran out to get batteries, the console works fine. Please read all the information and product requirements carefully when making this type of purchase, so you'll have everything needed for your item to work. If you can’t afford the Xbox one X and don’t care about 4K gaming. This is honestly perfect for you. If you’re looking for a gift for a good friend or family member this is also perfect for you. I got the fortnight edition just because it’s purple so I don’t really have anything to say about fortnight. However, the Xbox one s is phenomenal. It’s the perfect affordable gaming system to play with you friends or just enjoy a good quality game by yourself. I will say the X has better graphics capabilities and improved HDD for faster loading games. But, if those two things don’t matter to you, get your game in and go ahead and get the Xbox one S. ... show more

CONS: Some of the worst customer service and worst curated tech support FAQS. Got a question about account recovery? Or PC to Xbox casting? Don't bother trying to get help from Xbox. Clunky OS reminiscent of an ugly windows 10 budget laptop. This bundle does NOT come with a copy of Fortnite(was going to gamestop it anyways). Comes with two DURACELL BATTERIES - no charger, charging cable or rechargable battery - in 2019. One gift card code didn't work correctly and was already activated it seemed. PROS: New game pass ultimate is $15 a month for games AND Xbox Live. Some decent exclusives and backwards compatibility. This model reminds me of Prince. Was it worth it? I'll stick to my PS4Pro and only use this for old Xbox games, mainly. ... show more

The only thing I didn't care for was trying to share the gold live account with the other xbox in the house. I had to jump through hoops to get it to work, but all in all setup was easy, and the picture looks great. The product works perfectly and the purple xbox is a nice change from the all black one that preceded and provides better airflow. The controller wasn't as purple as I expected though, it is very dark and looks black until you get it in bright light.     • Great Gaming Console...Except Hard Drive Size
I think the gaming console itself is stellar and noticeably faster than the Xbox 360. I rated it only four stars for two reasons. First, I am not a big fan of Fortnite, but that is a personal preference issue and not really anything specifically with the game itself. Second, I understand the concept of mandating that each game be downloaded to ensure speed and efficiency of the game's operation. But, if that is going to be the case, either the games need to be smaller file sizes so as not to quickly gobble up the 1TB hard drive or give us a 5TB hard drive. It really is simple math. exactly as described and pictured, the deep purple changes shades of purple slightly depending upon the direct/indirect lighting, Fornite codes worked even though I don't play it, it has come with one month gold pass and one month game pass as well. just wanted this stunning purple 4k capable system and it is everything I hoped for. the controllers in my picture- the left controller is the one that comes with this system, the controller on the right is a custom controller with the microsofts royal purple color option. simply have it pictured for reference so you can see the deep purple of the console's controller. ... show more
