This lamp exceeded my expectations for the price. It was priced lower than other similar lamps so i wasn't sure what the quality would be. The metal is a nice brass color - it is not super shiny and the base is heavy. The globes are glass. The light is not super bright but it gives enough light to see and eat or work at the table. The cord comes out of the side of the pole near the bottom of the base and there is an on/off switch you step on to turn it on and off. I was surprised that the cord didn't go all the way thru and come out the bottom, but i guess that's the different between a $200 version of this lamp and a $57 version. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and I'm thinking of buying a second one. ... show more

Lamp looks great and works well. Extremely happy that the floor switch is not a dimmer and actually is compatible with smart plugs if needed. Only issue was one of the frosted orbs was damaged in shipping but I reached out to the customer support e-mail and they offered to send me a new one. The lamp looks great, super easy to assemble, and it puts out a good amount of light. I was worried with it using smaller "chandelier" bulbs and the frosted glass globes that it wouldn't put off much light, but I was pleasantly surprised at how bright it is. When buying bulbs for it, make sure to get the ones shaped like a candle flame and not round ones. Round bulbs won't fit through the opening in the globes. The only thing stopping me from giving it a 5 star review is that it doesn't take up as much visual space in the room as I thought it would based off of the photos online. I thought the globes were going to be bigger than what they are, but that's my fault for not paying closer attention to the dimensions. Overall, I really love the lamp. ... show more
