I have an xbox one s. I bought this console way back in 2019 and since then have customized my controller in a million different ways. (This did add up to over 200 dollars worth of faceplates, buttons, side panels,mods, etc.) You can imagine how devastated I was when i finally got stick drift, after a thorough cleaning I decided to give in and buy a new one. This controller says its renewed, and honestly i could hardly tell! It works perfectly, and I highly recommed it to anyone reaching for that classic feel you once had. I have 0 problems with it. And after a grace period of 2 months I decided to customize the buttons and faceplate. With this being said it was cool to take a look into a controller someone else had already been inside of, although it was nearly impossible to tell. Aside from one or two parts being a different color than my original controller everything was absolutely spotless. These controllers are renewed well, and by people who know what theyre doing! My fiance tried to use it and it didn't work he had to replace the motherboard inside the controller and use a different one from his other controller and it didn't come with the headphone port that a normal controller has don't buy i would give this controller no stars if I could the seller should be shut down for selling faulty controllers ... show more

Controller works great. However if your going to use it on a PC don't follow the installation instructions to set up blue tooth on a PC. Do this instead: Follow the instructions to update the controller to the latest firmware. Download the "Xbox Accessories APP" from the Microsoft Store (you'll use it later to test your controller. Go to the Control Panel. Click on Devices and Printers.. If the Xbox game controller is listed, then remove it. Click on Add a device. Turn on your controller and press the paring button until the on button starts flashing quickly. When your controller is recognized, then select it. Software and drivers will be automatically installed. I've attached a photo of what the controller Icon will look like in Devices and Printers when installed. (Installation note: I had to remove my blue tooth headphones from the blue tooth settings and then reinstall them to get them to work with the controller at the same time.) My son specifically asked for this controller. I'm not a gamer, so I know little to nothing about them. When I tried to buy it, they were currently out of stock😱. BUT they did have a refurbished one. Well, I'm familiar with Amazon refurbished products/ electronics. etc, so I didn't hesitate to snatch it up! He had no idea it wasn't brand new. The controller and packaging was in perfect condition. It is not the slim controller, but it works very well. I originally got it for my brother but maybe a week after I ordered this, my actual slim controller broke. So, I am overall happy with this purchase. Although pairing this controller with the newer model Xbox One S, proved to be time consuming, because straight out of the box it took me a couple of minutes to re-pair it. (Edit; Two Years later: This controller has surprisingly lasted me two years. It has functioned great when playing games that require a fast reaction time and it has a overall very comfortable feel just like any normal controller. I had ordered this before, but for some reason, I was sent the new White Robot Xbox One Controller. I couldn't complain. It has a better grip than the original, as the handles have texture on them. After 2 weeks of playing, it started to drift. I tried to fix it with alcohol, and taking out the plastic pieces on the sides of the joystick modules, voiding the warranty, but nothing work. Just received the refurbished original controllers for Xbox One S, and they work like new! Hopefully, I don't encounter that drift problem ever again, or else I'm going to try the Xbox X Series Elite controller. ... show more
