So I was really excited to get this controller because my old one had stuck trigger which made gaming frustrating. I opened the package and inserted the Xbox battery but the power button (xbox button) would not work so I attached the charging cable that it came with to the controller and the xbox whilst the xbox was on and that powered the remote on. I thought maybe it just had to be connected with the cable once but when I tried to hit the power button again only this time to turn it off then on and it still didn't work. ... show more

Product came with all the original packaging and pieces. No noticeable defects or blemishes. Controller worked well with a USB Bluetooth dongle, but would use up the two required AA batteries in a few weeks of frequent use. Controller feels really well in the hands, if not a little lighter than expected. All buttons feel responsive and quickly snap back. Awesome controller for PC users. ... show more

To my disappointment the controller was a bit dirty with some black spots on the controller along with some gunk in the seams of the controller. Cosmetics aside, the major problem I had discovered as soon as I plugged it to my PC was the left joystick drifted to the right. The right joystick also has some drift as well but it's minor compared to the left one. Other than that everything else worked perfectly fine. I've seen online how it can be fixed using some isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab but when you buy a refurbished product, it shouldn't already come with a problem that customer needs to fix. Windows calibration did help but didn't completely center the analog stick and this doesn't help my confidence in the longevity of the analog stick as this is something I expect to do later in the product's life. All in all it feels like I just got a used controller instead of a refurbished one. ... show more

I am usually methodical when purchasing something from Amazon, to the point that sometimes it takes me a week before I can settle on a specific product of something I have been meaning or wanting to buy. With this purchase, I spent maybe 2 days before I decided to get this specific controller. I wanted something non-standard, so blue it was, and I have had good experiences with refurbished electronics bought from Amazon before. However, this controller is disappointing. Everything functions, however the Right Trigger sticks on initially pulling it, which translates into pulling it too hard when trying to use it precisely (I play a lot of racing games). Additionally, the sticks are not worn but the colors are either faded or stained...it is difficult to tell which. They are slightly browned. If I can remember to do so I will edit this to include pictures at some point, possibly a video of the trigger sticking. 3 stars because it is disappointing enough that I wish I had bought a different controller, but functional enough to not make it worth my time to exchange it or buy a different one. ... show more
