Been working very well so far. No keyboard, but a keyboard is very inexpensive and worth it with this quality PC.

    • The battery has outlived it's use.
I purchased this item in February and have hardly booted it up. I have used it maybe 4 times. The bulk of the usage was just downloading Windows updates and a couple of personal apps. It was constantly needing to be recharged but I assumed it was because of the updates and wasn't concerned. Day before yesterday I went to use it, battery dead. I plugged it in and it struggled to boot up. When it finally did it was sluggish and not responsive. I checked the battery and it showed being 80% charged. When I removed the charging cable the machine immediately died and would not boot up. From research it appears that the issue is the lithium battery has exceeded it's life and Microsoft no longer supports replacing the battery on this machine due to its age. In addition what I just noticed is that there is a crack in the screen where the battery is located. I am not sure how long that has been there, but I suspect it is related to the battery issue. I strongly recommend avoiding this version since it, per Microsoft, has outlived its expected lifespan. ... show more

    • Very pleased overall with this refurbished unit. Minor software issue.
Mine was a refurbished unit. Works great. Only problem I'm having is that the Marvell AVASTAR Wireless-AC Network Controller keeps disconnecting, probably after it updates. It happens after I leave it for a few hours. Never while I'm on the internet. I figured out I can go into "Device Manager", disable it, and then enable it. It took a long time to figure this out. Hope this helps someone else. Otherwise, no complaints. Very happy with the tablet after attaching external Keyboard and another bigger monitor. This was a refurbished Surface Pro. I’m hard pressed to find any difference between this computer and a brand new one. I’m very pleased with this product! It’s just what I wanted, and the value for what it cost me was outstanding!

La surface trabaja bien pero su bateria no. En esta parte si deberian de colocar la verdad del estado de la bateria dice mayor a un 80% y es mucho menor. Al usarla al determinado tiempo se apaga y se pierde todo el trabajo. Es entendible que sea un dispositivo usado o repearado pero el precio no va de acuerdo al desempeño por esa parte del dispositivo.     • Easy to setup, light weight- great tablet.
I purchased this to replace my dieing laptop. Easy to setup, on screen keyboard is not my thing so I purchased a remote keyboard. I really like the weight, easy to use, easy to take with me, and the screen size is fantastic, also arrived quickly.

    • Decent value for the money
This was the first ever item I bought that was renewed and it's condition was said to be excellent and for the most part it is, there is one slight screen blemish that is only seen on start up and I didn't like the fact that they used skins to cover the back which started to come off almost immediately and come to find out they hid some slight discoloration probably due to the use of some sorta asset tracking sticker in its previous life and minor scratches. That said overall the item seems to be working and battery life is better than I expected not the greatest with heavy use but compared to my company's dell notebook given for work that has terrible battery life it's really good. Overall if not for the screen blemish and what I felt was the hiding of scratches (not a big deal its used) it works as expected but for those reasons mentioned is my reasoning for the 4 stars ... show more
