This is a great collection. Growing up I always wanted to play Halo but didn't have an Xbox. This gave me the chance to play each game which was awesome. The games look great (3 was the worst looking on this collection; but not crazy bad). Story and games were great and no crashes or bugs. LOVE IT!!! Halo franchise as a whole has been the most magical gaming experience of any game I’ve ever played since Super Mario Bros. This Halo Collection was a brilliant call by Microsoft. And they continue to improve it and support all the games. They added Reach recently. The community custom games are hysterical. The retro Halo 1 multiplayer is so nostalgic and frustrating and fun! And when you’re totally sick of the lack of innovation in Call of Duty and you’re ticked off that Black OPS sold their soul to the point that it feels no different from Modern Warfare, and you’re saddened that Microsoft acquired Activision and the monopoly is ever present and has squashed innovation and unique game play…Screw it! Immerse yourself in any of Halo’s beautiful campaigns and smile away your night at the vast vistas and landscapes and feel great music.     • You have to use 110 GB of internet before you can play
After installing, you also need to download 110BG of data from the internet before you are prompted to play. FYI

    • Rather disappointed
I grew up with these games and love them to death. Mostly picked this up as I found an xbox one at a yardsale for $25 and rather than bring up my old 360 games, have them all on one disk. Everything from CE to 3 is great, we don't talke about 4, but when I wanted to play odst after finishing 3, I was greeted with "PAY US $5 OR GET GAME PASS NOW" and the same with Reach. Absolutely not, I payed the price for the disk and the fact these are now blocked off as DLC despite being prominently displayed to choose from is a slap in the face! This is a marketing blunder and the price that's being asked for this and they leave out whole chunks of the story is unacceptable! No where did it say I had to pay more for parts of the story and the same with spartan points, I put all my spartan points into getting armor in Reach because you could customize your spartan in reach. Now I'm being told, "fork over $5 or you wasted your spartan points" like you've got to be kidding me. This is unacceptable and I'm generally considering returning this as it is an incomplete product and I'm expected to pay for things that are supposed to be in the game! ... show more

    • This is the fifth generation of the game.
I love it because my grandson loves it! It combines Halo three and four together and includes some extra games It does say for 16 and over. My older grandson talked his Papa into buying it when he was eight or nine and said that he loved it then. The bad language occurs if you are playing with other players and they cuss or say things on line. ... show more
