This bench turned out great and above my expectations. The box it came in was quite small but heavy which is good as it shows the quality of wood but it has few screws which I felt happy as it’s easy to install. It’s been a while since we have been using this as a sit out in the patio and it has been going great until now. I want to expand my patio furniture and will order again if they have it back in stock The wooden planks are flexible a little bit and it still seems to do its job. The flexibility I guess helps with the sitting and moving all this while

This bench really surprised me. It is easy to assemble, the instructions were really straight-forward---and it looks and feels great. Great design and something that looks great on my front porch. I love the way it fits in well with your decor, and the cost is also something that is affordable. Makes for a great gift idea as well.

A sturdy, no-frills bench at a reasonable price. It's fairly easy to put together, looks nice, solid. It sits on my front porch and makes a handy place for package delivery (see photos). I assembled this alone. It takes a little pre-planning and maneuvering but it can be done if you don't have any help (or you're impatient, like me, and don't want to wait). I weigh 400+lbs so I'm always a bit nervous/cautious about sitting on something new, this bench is solid and gives me no worries. So, why only 4-stars? The edges are a little rough in some places, it's closer to an unfinished do-it-yourself assembly project. I'm fine with it's "rustic" quality but if you are very particular you might not be happy with it as it is - you could very easily put a different finish on it or adapt it to your personal taste.

Have had now for a year. Never sat in it as ordered just for a lawn decor piece. It has already split and cracked in several places. On the seating part but two places on the back piece have just come apart. What a waste of money on this cheap crap!

The media could not be loaded. This wooden polished bench that I ordered for my front desk is unexpectedly beautiful and polished like oil. I was looking for a wooden bench like this that will look good when I put in-front of my house. I assembled myself in less then 30-40 mins, was so easily like baby steps, specially I thought it would be heavy since it’s wooden, it’s I wasn’t that bad comparing to other wooden stuff I have in my house. After setting up the bench and when I sat on it, it felt so good because of the width of the bench. Much buy because the price is great so the product.

Exactly one week after our return window closed for this item, the seat back split leaving more than a 1/2 inch gap between slats. This was obviously caused by improper curing of the wood. I am trying to find a customer service email or phone number for the supplier who says to contact them for any problems within a year of purchase. I will update this review if I'm successful. {update} It is now July 4 and I'm updating my review. I contacted the supplier, who was very cooperative, and they sent me another bench after I shared photos of the cracks with them. The bench arrived yesterday and I unpacked it today and assembled it. Unfortunately, the seat back of the replacement is cracked as well. I'm thinking that this quality control issue is caused by un or improperly cured wood. The seat back has the thinnest wood in the bench and is assembled in a jig by the factory. My guess is that the factory assembly does not allow for swelling or shrinkage in the wood and as a result, when the temperature changes, the wood expands or contracts and cracks result. This is unfortunate because the bench is a nice appearing product, however I cannot recommend that anyone purchase it. Update July 16. I write this update to commend the seller of the bench. I have received a refund. I decided to pursue that route because the two benches that I did receive were both damaged by cracks. I still believe that the cause of the problem is not letting the lattice work "float" when assembling the bench back. Hopefully the manufacturer will rectify this issue soon. Thanks to the seller once again for standing behind their product.
