I’d been wanting to get an outdoor bench for my backyard for a while, and finally settled on this one. I put it together the day it arrived, and honestly, the look and build quality are both pretty solid. All the hardware and instructions were included in the box—no extra tools needed, and the steps were clear. It took me about 20 minutes to assemble by myself; with two people it’d probably go even faster. The black metal frame with the floral pattern is really nice—more detailed than I expected. The wavy edge on the backrest and the scrollwork are well done. It looks cozy on the patio or in the garden, and it doesn’t feel bulky at all. There’s plenty of room for two people to sit comfortably. My daughter often does her kickboxing practice in the backyard, and when she’s tired, she’ll take a break on it. It’s also great if we have guests over or just want to hang out in the evening. The backrest has a slight recline—it’s not completely upright—so when you’re sitting there chatting or on your phone, it really takes the pressure off your lower back. The frame is cast iron, so it has some good weight to it. I’m not worried about it tipping over on windy days. The seat frame has a matte black finish that looks like it’ll resist scratches well. The feet have pre‑drilled holes if you want to anchor it to the ground—you’d need to buy ground anchors separately—but honestly, it’s already sturdy enough that I didn’t bother. What I like most is the armrest design. A lot of outdoor benches have seats that are wider than the armrests, leaving a little exposed corner. To me, that’s a safety hazard for kids—especially little ones—because they’re always running and jumping around the backyard. If they accidentally hit that corner, they could really get hurt. On this bench, the armrests run the full width of the seat, so there’s no overhang. Plus they’re curved, which makes them comfortable to rest your arms on and means no sharp edges for the kids to bump into. Overall, if you’re looking for a good‑looking, comfortable, and sturdy outdoor bench, this one’s definitely worth considering. I’d recommend it to my friends without hesitation.

Four stars ONLY because of some minor scratches out of box but otherwise like everybody else: Thrilled!!! I am near 68 years old WEAK arm back & neck lady who assembled this just fine. One thing I disagree with though is the instructions (which are nice & CLEAR and easy) - say you should screw in slats first. I disagree cuz After doing so it was Very tricky for me to screw backrest. I would suggest assembling backrest first. The bench is VERY good looking and to me doesnt "require" a cushion (its pretty darn comfortable) but I'm getting a perfect one I found on temu. The bench is a SUCCESS! Now only concern is, rain is coming to so cal. Hope my baby doesnt rust up. *EDIT after extended use of 15 minutes. Bench backrest is STRAIGHT, no curve to support lumbar. You may want to get a bench thats curved or definitely lumbar support pillows.
