There are five key features I consider important in a pop up tent. Theses are portability, setup, breakdown, durability and effectiveness. This tent is amazingly portable, it starts with the compact size of the assembly when it is closed and ends with the bag. The bag has a full length zipper, cinches to further aid compaction, a hard base to help assembly stand during storage, properly sized wheels to help during transport and two (2) handles to further help transport the tent. The handles are placed for two person carry or one individual rolling the bag on its wheels. Bag is reinforced in all the right places (more on that later). The instructions recommend two people setup the tent. I did not have anyone handy so I did it alone. This does increase the time slightly and difficulty goes from 1/10 to 2/10. In hindsight, staking one leg of the tent with the included stakes would have made this more fluid. The general assembly is super straight forward and took me fourteen minutes from unpacking to fully deployed. If you have never set up a tent before, it may take you thirty minutes. The tent is even easier to breakdown as disassembly is simply the reverse of assembly. The durability of a tent is seen mostly in performance over time but the tent cover is reinforced in all the right places. The framework and legs are made from thick metal which is riveted for smooth operation and to withstand the abuse of repeated setup, breakdown, inclement weather and people bumping into it. The cover even has ventilation flaps to reduce condensation under the tent. The package included metal stakes (not plastic like many others) and guy ropes for each corner. There are also metal stakes for each leg of the tent. The tent is very effective against wind and of course sun. I have not used it in the rain but have no doubts about its performance there. My kids like to play outside in the sand and dirt everyday so we got one of these to stay out of the sun. The setup was very straightforward and we had it together in less than 5 minutes with 2 of us. It would be pretty hard to get the metal frame to expand for setup alone so two people is recommended. I was able to get the frame to collapse on my own pretty easily when I took it down for the day though. ... show more

Easy assembly but failed first rain test. Weep holes only on 2 sides. Water gathers on the other 2 sides and collapsed. 1 inch of rain recorded. Other brands survived without failure. Disappointed in my decision and the quality.

This is a 13 x 13 canopy. Ideally, 2 people should assemble it. I was alone but assembly was still quick and simple. Directions are straight forward. And all items easily identifiable. Total set up for 1 individual was about 20 minutes. Probably closer to 5 minutes with 2 people. Comes with a travel case on wheels, which sounds silly, but will be appreciated when the canopy comes down and is stored during the off season. ... show more

Bought this canopy in the off season because it was on sale. It came quickly and I assembled it to make sure all was fine during the return window. There is no actual assembly other than stretching the legs out and putting the cover on. Definitely need 2 people to do that. The canopy looks nice and should function perfectly in summer to keep me shaded. Also the roller bag makes transporting this easy. No complaints so far ... show more

The media could not be loaded. 1 of the 4 corners does not have the loop or string to secure it down properly. Also, it does not have the water holes as advertised in the pictures, which sucks bc that's needed where we are.
