    • Excellent lighting for Wall paintings
Size: 1260 lumens
Alot of functionality in a well designed, compact light fixture. The variable LED brightness and color adjustability is great, and the ability to angle the light and adjust the beam size is also super. A bit on the pricy side but worth it to get just the right lighting on centerpiece Paintings.

    • Professional gallery-quality lighting for your home or office
Size: 1260 lumens
Review Image by SLODave SLODave
I’m a retired professional photographer who likes to show my past work on the walls of my home. My problem is that I’ve run out of well-lit wall space in my home to hang photographs. Proper lighting is essential to properly display art photography. These high quality lights have let me convert some existing recessed ceiling down-lights into very high quality, color correct lights. This has allowed me to bring to life some very dimly lit wall space. They are very adjustable for almost any situation. Installation was pretty easy even though my existing lights had already been previously converted to LEDs. These lights have a memory feature that saves any adjustments and applies these whenever you turn the lights on. The build quality is excellent. Highly recommended. ... show more

    • Easy to install; multiple light settings
New art in my cozy corner requires new lighting! I have the older version of this light already, so I immediately went back to reorder and discovered this new one! What an upgrade! I love that I don't need to mount and can install in an existing fixture. My art looks great and BONUS! The light pivots enough that I can put it straight down for when I'm doing any needlework. Old eyes need good light and this is magic! The paperwork mentions a fan to keep cool on the higher settings, I had it set as bright as I could and never heard it, but it must do the job, because I moved it right back into position highlighting my with painting while it was still on even when I inadvertently touched the bulb area. ... show more

I really like that some of my art is now illuminated with museum-quality lighting. Using an existing fixture make installation very convenient. It's a bit pricey but we use it everyday.

    • Great but only last about 2 years
Size: 1260 lumens
We got those lights late 2022 and we loved them! They gave our living room and amazing light boost for a large photograph we put up. Unluckily now 2 years later each of the 2 units has an issue. The one only has the “warm” LED’s working while the other one only the cool ones. Otherwise I would highly recommend those units and buy them again! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have struggled for over a year at our new house to find a lighting solution for this colorful painting over the mantle. We have a standard 6" recessed light for the fireplace mantle (early 80s house with 10 ft ceiling). I changed it to a retrofit LED with variable color temperature but I could never focus the light or step down the intensity to my satisfaction. We hate overhead lighting when just hanging at home so it always felt garish and glaring to me to have the picture lighting so bright when the other overheads were off. This is a great solution. I can choose a color temperature on the warmer side of neutral and step it down to a gentle glow, then when the overheads are on for a party, increase the brightness to still showcase the painting. I was able to find a single Halo brand baffle trim piece on Amazon which took some searching because most come in multipacks. It doesn't look too bad. I see that some people buy socket extenders but I don't think we need one. I took a video going through some of the color temperature and brightness settings. Be aware that they are in steps rather than smooth transitions so you can't dial in a precise temperature or brightness. For example, I really want a step in between the "coolest" warm and the "warmest" neutral to match where our smart bulbs are all dialed in. Still, there is enough variety that you can probably find a good setting for most art, I would think. I like that there are 2 memory buttons for 2 favorite settings. I will say that I don't think the adjustment ring does much to change the size of the light cone at our short distance. Also when I had the ring all the way out there was a small gap where light escapes and I thought that was distracting. I have had my eye on this for months and have been put off by the high cost and fact that you can't change the "bulbs" so it could last a short time and you're S. O. L. because the warranty doesn't cover failure under normal use, per the materials in the package - but it's so much better than having to get a traditional art light and run a cord to an outlet which was my next best idea. I pray it lasts a long time but I think it's definitely worth it for our needs. ... show more
