Ok, overall, I am liking this scooter. It is my first scooter is a lot of fun. It is powerful, accelerates well to a listed speed of 45 mph on a straight run. Seems to charge OK. Our family is a bit on the heavier side ranging from almost 200 to 250 lb. Several family members have tried it out in a variety of gears and it gave a low battery warning after 30 miles. The scooter was still functioning well so I think that is reasonable. I have a few gripes. The first challenge was that my scooter came without an owner's manual. This presented a bit of a challenge in assembling the bike and correcting the P settings when the speedometer was accidentally set to metric. This issue was resolved when I found the correct email address for the company. There was an issue with one of the chargers malfunctioning soon after purchase. Once I was able to contact the company, they sent a new charger. To this date the riding experience with this scooter is pretty awesome. We have only put 30 miles on it and I am just charging it for the second time. It has nice acceleration. I think the top speed is reasonably close to it's 45 mph reading on the speedometer. The scuffs are not much of a concern as I'm sure I will wear in the bike given the time. the charging covers were not intact which raises some concern about water getting in the charging outlet, but I am not planning in leaving this outside or in the rain. The remaining charger does charge without heating up too much so far. It looks like you should be able to charge with two chargers at once, but again I have no manual and the second charger popped and broke a couple minutes into the first charge. As far as the functionality and enjoyability of the bike itself, I would be tempted to give the bike 5 stars on first impression. With the scuffs 4.5. With the inability to reach the sellers and even get a manual, that dings it. As an aside, in the assembly, I did apply threadlocker to the screws. Everything tightened up nicely with no give. The family and I are loving the scooter so far (2 weeks in). Further update: As of 3/10/24, everyone in the family is loving the scooter. So far, So good. The company replaced the defective charger and once I was able to find the correct email through which to contact the team, they have been responsive. The scooter is fast and has good acceleration, but it is also easy to do a leisurely cruise. I initially relied on the seat but have found to enjoy standing while operating much more enjoyable. I purchased this product after researching several well know brands (road runner, solar scooters). I was looking for a device i could ride through the woods and trails in the mountains. I have an EV and it’s rather small so transporting an E-bike which is what i wanted was out of the options. I can’t transport a 4 wheeler either which is what my family owns. I got this and it is easy to transport as it folds and fits into a 2022 bolt ev with ease. It is a little heavy but if you use the back break and pull the scooter back it goes onto the rear wheel. Set the front wheel in the air in your trunk and then fold the handles and lift the back and push. It’s super easy to transport that way because you’re only lifting half the weight per time. As far as the scooter goes performance wise. With it fully charged i tried a top speed run on flat ground and achieved 38 MPH and I’m 155lbs. As far as hills go. This thing will drag/shove you up the hill so fast it’s scary. I did climb inclines of 45-48 degrees with such ease. Even speed setting 1 gets you up the hills but a bit slower. After riding rocky terrain i did have to do a full tighten up on bolts and fasteners. Only once though and the rest of the week it was solid. Make sure the folding handle lock collar is secured very tightly. The lights are meh and decent in emergency but not something to rely on every day. The range is fantastic. I was about to achieve 34 miles of range up and down mountains and still had plenty of battery to ride another 5-7 miles the next day without charge. Speed setting number 2 takes me to 27 mph which is a little fast for me on a casual ride. I know you can change the speed settings but i wish it was easier to navigate. Keep the soft start option on. When you turn it off this thing will launch you off the back if your not holding on tight. The breaks are great but i might need to bleed them like others have. It’s spoungy then it locks up. There is no slowing down slowly, when the breaks engage they stop you and i almost went over the handle bars. Both rear and front breaks act the same and you have to lean back and get low when you break so your momentum doesn’t go forward. As far as breaks as well i felt more confortable using the front break even when going down hill because regardless of which one you still need to lean back so i used the front to help slow me in the direction i was going. I felt that the back when locking up would make the tail spin out of control so i hesitated to use it. Overall i am absolutely thrilled with this thing. It accelerates faster than my brothers 650 Yamaha up to 25mph and i smoked them on the mountain trails as i was more agile and limber on the small scooter. I love this thing. Thank you MetaMoov 08. I was a little hesitant to buy this brand, mainly because I was thinking I needed to get one of the top American made brands if I wanted something good. But the American company scooters with similar specs would have costed double the price easy. After careful consideration and research I decided to give it a try, and worst case, I had a bit of time to return it. After getting set up and configured to my personal preferences, I can honestly say this scooter is a beast. It is so much fun to ride, being fast, stable, full of features and pretty much everything you would expect in a top end scooter, except the top end price tag. I am very happy with the whole experience, from the customer service reaching out to make sure things were good, to the ease of setting up and running the first time, it’s all very well streamlined and I can tell you this scooter will not disappoint. ... show more
