If you're working alone flip step 2, and step 1. Then put the end pieces on so you'll have a stable structure to work on without help. Slats seem flimsy for me 300lbs but I think these will work for my girls.

Easy and quick to put together , mattress comes off the frame a lot , so we put a piece of plywood and it's not as bad now , bed squeaks more than I'd prefer Just from tossing and turning ... when we move , we won't be keeping the bed frame
