I did a lot of research on baby tubs while pregnant with my son. Other tubs seemed to have issues with mold and safety issues. I have not had any issues with this tub and my son is now a year old. We have had no mold issues. It is easy to change out the different levels as your baby grows.

The insert was very uncomfortable to bathe my newborn in because it was unstable, so I did some research and decided to buy the Skip Hop infant bath tub. I used it for the first time tonight and it was a total game changer. You’re able to fill up the bottom part with water so that your baby feels the warm water under their back while you bathe them making it a more pleasant experience. It was a bit bigger than I expected, but don’t be alarmed by the big Amazon box. It is cute and also useful. I used to use a chair in the bathtub but it’s not okay for my back and also it’s scary to lift my baby up from the bathtub to floor coz my baby moving a lot. But this saved my back! Also no need to fill the bath tub so save my time! The buckles are stuck a bit tight so not easy to remove but it means it’s safe for babies. Also you need to flip the tub after use to drain all water. It has a plug but doesn’t drain all the water. Considering that you can use until your baby turns 1 year old, it’s worth to pay $40 (or if you can use baby registry coupon, it’s cheaper) and save your time, water bill and stress! ... show more

2nd kid and I had to purchase this same tub again. I love the net on the inside and how it keeps the newborn nice and comfy during bath. Newborns are so fragile and I've always been afraid the first few times giving them a bath but this works so great. I love that the net comes off to wash because it can get pretty stinky if you don't. It's a little hard to pop the net off but I guess that's good because it stays secure when you have a baby in there.
