A detailed manual and step-by-step video are available. Personalized support is available if needed. How can I help my hens adapt to the nesting box? Start near their usual laying area, with the legs very low and curtains open. Add familiar bedding, fake eggs and the included training ties to keep fake eggs in the nest. As hens adapt, gradually raise the box and lower the curtains. Is the nesting box suitable for larger breeds? The open community-style interior provides 33.5" of usable width without narrow individual compartments. For larger breeds, use the high-side entrance setup for a 12.2" entry height, providing more clearance and easier access. Can I replace the curtains if they become worn or damaged? Both the red privacy and black inner curtains are replaceable. The included material comes uncut for a custom fit. Reuse your first cut curtains as templates, and our easy-change curtain system makes future DIY replacements simple. How easy is it to clean the interior? The hinged rear panel stays open for two-hand access, making it easier to remove the washable nesting pad and clean the interior. Galvanized steel plus powder coating provides dual rust protection for routine cleaning.
