The media could not be loaded. I always wanted to use a metal detector to look for various precious metals and so I decided to buy this one which has worked amazingly for me. I have been using it for a while now and at first I wasn't sure on how it would work, but in most cases when I hear a sound there is some kind of metal I find. It has 2 different modes that starts with all metals which that is what I have it on majority of the time. It also has DISC settings to filter out what I don't want to find. There is also a memory function to only find what I have found before and stored that in the memory setting. It also filters out iron and other non-precious metals if needed. It definitely pinpoints the area where it finds something very accurately with up to 6.7" underground. It is waterproof and so it can detect things up to 16.5" in shallow water. It is light and easy to transport and the stem can be adjusted up to 48" which is great since I am taller which makes it easier to use. It is a very durable and quality made metal detector that is great to use and I know it will last me a long time. ... show more

For the price is a good deal. It works as good as my minelab pinpointer. Just dont like clicking it so many times to get it set where i want it.

    • Handheld Pinpointer detector - don't use in saltwater.

Don't use in saltwater. I was searching at the beach with a metal detector and this pinpointer goes off everytime in saltwater even with nothing there. It's fine on dry environments but not in the tide zone at the beach. Every hole I dig that had saltwater on it, this thing goes off but nothing is there. What's the point of saying it's water proof to 66' if it just goes off placing it in salt water? Very disappointed. This thing may only be good for fresh water and if that's the case it should state that. ... show more

When it works, it works well. Other times, it goes off pointing at nothing & I have to turn it off & back on to reset. Kind of a pain in the rear. I'd buy a different one if I had it to do over again. I may still do that actually.

The seller was great, I bought the product and it showed up 3days later so good response with the seller. The product is great too, I just started metal detecting so a beginner level pinpointer is perfect for me. The product is a little heavy, not a problem for me but could get tiresome for others. Accuracy of the product is great it's helped me find a lot of items already, even very small stuff I wouldn't find otherwise. Three modes on the product, I like vibrate (don't say anything🤣) I found the modes that beep are kinda annoying after awhile. Other than that I'd recommend the product for beginners like me, if your a experienced treasure hunter spend a little more for something more advanced but great for beginner level. ... show more

I have been metal detecting for a long time I didn't think I needed a pinpointer, boy was I wrong. It takes half as long to find my target 🎯 , I won't go detecting without one now. I guess the saying you can't teach an old dog new tricks isn't true. The reason for 4 stars is this model pinpointer occasionally when turned on will go on, you have to turn off and on again? I gave one to my grandson and he was thrilled that it was his size. He tried first in his backyard and it did register in a couple of places but the ground was too hard to dig. They are going to the beach and the sand will be much easier. Great gift!
