This metal detector is fire!! We've used it on beach, on land, in shallow water, and in grass. It's uncovered metal trinkets and bits of all sorts - my son loves this thing. No treasure yet, but there's still time!! Lol it's easy to use, backlit, works great at night, or day, in different modes, and on different kinds of soil/ environments. it gets a little heavy for me after about 30 minutes, but my son or husband can carry it for a couple hours easily. It does have an arm band to help out.

This unit was a feature on youtube. Bought it because it was rechargeable. Needed to find a metal skid for my loader in 36" piles of snow which was lost after winter storm Fern. Charged unit over night, read manual following day. Assembled unit and found the metal skid within 20 minutes. Unit worked very well. Will be using it alot come warmer weather as I now live on 3 acres of land. Hard to say what I might find.

I love that you can break this device down and store it in a back pack. That makes our hikes to places to use it so much easier. It has more false positives and isn’t pinpoint accurate even when you are hovering right over a piece of metal. I’ve adjusted the sensitivity and tried it different ways and even buried coins and random pieces of metal to test it. The pin pointer is very sensitive but malfunctioned out of the box. I replaced the battery and held it straight up and down away from everything and it just kept alerting. That seems to have fixed itself now. The detector just isn’t very accurate. I’ve used it in sandy areas, rocky areas, and grassy areas where I know there is metal. Maybe I don’t quite have it dialed in yet.

Good value. Haven't used but a couple times but I found lots of bullets and change. Lots of trash too. Able to find a penny 6 inches deep. Like the fact that it comes with a digging tool, ear phones and a backpack type bag. Buy yourself a pinpointer too,you’ll use it.

This is a LOT better than what I had as a kid back in the 1980s. This can help you pin point just where the item is. I am not sure if I like the identifying option, it stated silver metal, and I dug up a 1980s pull tab Pepsi can. It will also suggest how deep it is.
