The media could not be loaded. I had a defective queen bed which would no longer hold the wooden slats and needed a fix. This full-sized metal bed frame works perfectly inside an existing queen bed frame and I pre-measured and checked the listing to make sure it would be perfect and it was. The queen-size would work as a stand-alone queen mattress frame, but would’ve been too large to fit INSIDE an existing queen bed with missing slats. The metal in this bed frame is very sturdy but it takes a LOT of time and effort to assemble. Complete assembly took 4 adults over an hour. The instructions were hard to understand to the point I mis-understood why there were rubber adhesive strips included as they were not listed in the instructions so I mistakenly assumed they were non-skid pads for the bottoms of the legs. WRONG. After the entire bed-frame was assembled we realized they were too large to fit on the feet, but would’ve been ideal as a pad between the metal legs and the frame! They were designed to give a more secure assembly, but at that point there was no way we were gonna take it all back apart. So this is for those who may wonder what those little rubber pads are for and can utilize them properly! I wish I had known. Regardless, the frame is sturdy, the perfect height to meet with my existing bed frame and house my queen boxspring/mattress. The frame is quiet, adds comfort and is very stable. I would’ve given 5 stars if the directions had been more clear and if the assembly was a bit easier. Side-note for those using this frame without a headboard and footboard, there are brackets included to keep the mattress on the frame. I did not need those so they are not pictured in the final result. This frame is priced reasonably and is a good value for the money. ... show more

    • Hard to assemble. But sturdy, light, and nice height.

I will start with the positives. Once assembled it is sturdy and a perfect height with mattress and box springs. It is also really light so it is easy to handle and set up, even alone. For the price that's not bad. My bed was on the floor before and really hard to get out of because it was so low. That is all I needed fixed and for a reasonable price it is now resolved. The issues are not unique to this product but troublesome none the less. I put the frame together myself but it is much more comfortablely a two person job. The holes are not precision drilled and the sides are very difficult to deal with until everything is together. With two people the aligning required to get the bolts in place would be much easier. The other issue is that the instructions are overly simplistic with only graphics and part numbers but no instructions. As a result I missed two small pieces that keep the box springs from sliding sideways. The fix requires the removal and replacement of 4 screws. 2 on each side. It was beyond me for tonight so I will have to do it at some later date. The frame functions fine without them, at least for the short term. ... show more

As long as you are not expecting a lot of bells and whistles this metal bed frame will provide a sturdy yet lightweight frame to raise your bed to a comfortable height. As others have noted the instructions leave a bit to be desired and assembly is much easier with two folks...but it CAN be done by just one. Also, you might want to have a drill and bit handy since some of the bolt holes do not line up perfectly and re-drilling can save you some exasperation. You should figure on an hour or two to finish the assembly but once done you'll have a sturdy and solid foundation for you mattress/box spring. ... show more
