This Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ 5G (SM-X218U) is advertised as “US Version, US Cellular Network” and even came with a US Cellular SIM card inside the box. However, when I tried to activate it, the US Cellular system rejected the IMEI with the message: “Unable to activate this device. Unknown Serial Number.” How can a product be marketed as US Cellular compatible, shipped with their SIM card, and yet not even be recognized by their own network? This is completely misleading. I wasted time and money on a device that cannot be activated as promised. ... show more

I like the size of the tablet, and it works well enough, I just don't like that it does not charge while you are using it. Update, I changed the brick I was using to charge this tablet from a 40w to a 60w, it now charges while using the tablet.

Me di cuenta al cargarlo con un cable distinto, dado que decía que se cargaba completamente en 3 horas y con el original en 1 y media, además, cargaba sin problemas. Yo ya estaba a punto de devolverlo, pero quise descartar esa duda, y sí, era el cable, me funciona de maravilla. Lo uso para videos y música, no para juegos. This Tablet was listed with 3 carriers - T-Mobil, US Cellular, and Verizon. I purchased the one that was supposed to be conected to T-Mobil. However the tablet was locked and could not be activated. I took it to a T-Mobil tech team and they spent around 4 hours trying to get it activated without success. Aparently T-Mobile bought US Cellular and so their website is pretty dead. Can't get ahold of anyone there, no tech support of any kind. We called Samsung and they just put us on hold for 45 minutes and then the phone went dead. So now I'm stuck with a worthless device and money down the drain. ... show more
