Great work boot, lite weight, waterproof and has a composite toe. I wanted a boot with a composite toe, a friend of mine dropped a cinderblock on his toe and had to have it amputated. You can't even tell you have them on. I usually wear a 9M in Merrell. This pair runs just a tad big, I just tightened the laces a little more and now then fit fine. I wore them once to cut my grass on hilly terrain, they held me on the steep slopes without slipping or wearing a blister on my foot. Time will tell if they hold up.

Before buying, I Read the reviews, for this boot with composite toe, they said that you could use the same size boots as normal. But that is not accurate, lets just say, can’t ware thick socks with the sane size, so I changed them for a one size bigger, will let you know when they arrive. But over all they are very comfortable on the feet.

I do environmental surveys for my work which requires lost of hiking. Unfortunately I need a composite toe boot for much of the work. Most boots I have tried are hot and uncomfortable. I got these in a wide fit. They are some of the few wide fit shoes that don't squish my feet. They are the same quality I love in other merrils I have owned. They are a little heavier due to the composite toe. I can start to get a hot spot forming after 8 hours of hiking in rigorous terrain, but have not had a full blister as of yet.

Hubby loves these. Says they are comfy and durable. He is a roofer so spends his days up and down ladders and walking roofs. Would definitely buy again.

Fits nice and wide. Comfortable at first but didn’t last as most other shoes did. Work maintenance 8-10 hours a day and walk Nearly 16k steps or 10 miles a day. We’re waterproof for first few weeks and then they weren’t. 2 months in wearing them 5-6 days a week and the bottom is coming apart and the sole Is near worn out. Don’t see them lasting another 2 months

Too high in back by ankle. When I walk it seems awkward because the back of the stiff portion of shoe hits back of ankle too much, like the angle in back is not enough. I am not sure if I can return them because they are dusty after wearing them twice.
