We got this chair for my mother (5'2") and were a little worried it might be too big for her, but she loves it! Had some issues with delivery that we thought might affect the chair (the FED-EX guy literally rolled the box from the street halfway through our yard before my fiance saw him and helped him carry it to our porch) and we contacted the seller. They were very nice and said go ahead and set it up and if anything was wrong, they would help us out any way they could. Set up of chair was VERY easy, it took all of maybe 10 minutes if that. The first night my mom sat in it and reclined she said it was the first time in years that she didn't feel any pain and it lasted all night and still to today (since then she has had a total hip replacement and will be going back to have her spine fused) I would highly recommend this chair to anyone. ... show more

I bught the recliner on April, 2017, 3 months ago. The recliner was very comfortable and the remote control waas capable of lowering the recliner from uproght position , where anyone could easily exit out of, and the other button on remote was capable of bringing you down to the confortable reclined position. For the price, I couldn't find anything comparable to this merax recliner. However barely 3 months past and the "lift" mechanism began to give me trouble. The "down" mechanism failed to work; and only the recliner only went up when pressing the "up" button. So, the recliner is not usable at this time. ... show more

I bought this for my father who had a stroke a few years back. He says he absolutely loves it. It's been a few months now and the chair seems to be failing apart. It seems like the reclining mechanism dies after awhile. I mean, for the price it doesn't seem bad, but that's the problem. Buy something better for your loved one. ... show more

This is a great buy! My 81 year old Dad is very happy with this chair. The massage and lift button's are tiny, but for the price and construction of this Lazy Boy chair don't mind helping him with the controller ❤️

Awful! A spring popped out of the lifting mechanism already. The box looked like it went through a war when it arrived. I have no clue how to ship this total piece of crap back. Total RIP-OFF!
