This camera that I purchased for myself, I use for my photography class in college. It is a great and easy to use camera that comes with a lot of tools for the camera such as a lens cap, charger, for the camera as well as a cloth to clean it. The camera itself is a little more on the side, but the money is worth it for the camera. It takes very high-quality pictures as well as videos and works great for my photography class and my needs for it. As someone who dabbles in photography but isn’t super heavily into it I would say this is a great starter camera as it also comes with directions on how to use it. One of the features that I really like is that an app connects the camera to your phone to directly download the pictures to your phone Via the camera Wi-Fi, (note the camera Wi-Fi is not actual Internet Wi-Fi and it’s only used to connect to your cellular device). It does also have a built-in flash into the camera to use at your disposal so you won’t need outside light sources as often. I like this camera. I think it's a great starter cam for vlogging or for pictures to edit. 1 issue I did have is that there is no way to contact the company to solve problems. A other issue I have is that I can't find additional batteries for this product. I would like suggestions on compatible batteries as well as SDXC cards The only thing they say is the camera can go up to 256gb class10 but I was hoping for more like if it's compatible with V30 V60. Currently the 32gb SDHC card will break up your videos into 5min-10mim increments. I still like the camera for the price. Would love suggestions for a replacement battery and SDHC card ... show more

I have already returned one external mic, and bought another, thinking the mic was bad. It's the CAMERA that is bad, if you actually want sound with video. By extension, only half the camera works for anything. It will take a decent photo, bit It's useless to me with no video sound. Yes, you get the usual muffled sound from the original mic/hole, but don't bank on it as a quality video camera. The camera also turns itself on and off, during operation. (I did check the automatic shutoff time, and that wasn't it.) Not to mention, where does one find an extra or replacement SX-90 battery? If there is one similar that matches or is compatible, it should be stated. In the owners manual, that is the product number you get. Put it in Amazon search bar, and see if you find it. . . The seller offered to make it right. Since I accepted the offer, I haven't heard a word back at all. If the microphone port worked, it didn't shut down in the middle of use, and you knew how/where to get maintenance parts, such as a battery, it might be worth money you don't have to set on fire. Best of luck. Update: I have given 4 stars because the seller has agreed to make it right. It hasn't happened yet, bit they have finally emailed, and I THINK we are working on it. If a seller is willing to correct their mistakes, you can't get much better than that, because there are so many who don't. So, kudos to them for CARING enough to correct it 👏 ... show more
