The assembly instructions are primarily drawings and are very clear to understand and the daybed is easy to assemble. The daybed is sturdy and all but the side panels are made from quality wood pieces for the frame. The side panels are thin and w pliable pieces, possibly made of engineered wood. The wooden slats provide really great additional support. They can be screwed into place which will help to keep them from moving around. Screws are provided but you will likely prefer to use a drill over a screwdriver. Not all of the slats are the same size and you may need a few tries to make sure that they are centered before screwing in place. It is a twin size bed and will be perfect for naps even for hosting guests. ... show more

I got this because the hubby said he wanted this. It’s a little on the flimsy side if ya ask me! I think it should’ve cost less because of how thin & flimsy it is. The hubby is ok with it, but as for me, I’m not. I’m giving it 3 stars, cause even though I think it’s cheaply made, it is serving its purpose.
