These were actually a lot better than I had anticipated, with the hooks and magnets they stay in place really well. Has really good coverage, it’s a nice thick material. I work on some high end vehicles so this relieves any anxiety I and my clients may have working on cars with darker paint. Can’t go wrong with these especially at this price point. Might buy another set just to have on shelf. Highly recommend.

They feel nice I ordered the thick large ones and I am using them on a 1970 Ford Torino. They cover adequately and feel nice and spongy definitely will be using these at all times when wrenching

They are much thicker than I have purchased in the past. I am not sure if the extra thickness would actually protect your car from getting a dent if you drop something heavy on a fender or something while you were working, but I guess they are more protection than the thinner ones I have been using. There are three one for each fender and one for the front. The ones for the fenders have two plastic hooks. The one for the front has three plastic hooks And is wider. They all have magnets, but I am would not say that the magnets are going to do a great job of keeping them in place. You’re going to have to use the hooks. Why the hell didn’t they put some serious magnets that could do the job of keeping them in place ???The hooks seem to be a little thicker plastic than ones I have had in the past that have broken. These might break as well. I would’ve preferred. They had made them out of metal as I would have preferred them to put magnets that could actually do a great job of keeping them in place without even needing to use the hooks. These were considerably more expensive than ones I had bought in the past, but I decided to bite the bullet. I wish they were overall better quality as I have indicated in this review, but they are an improvement.

I ordered both and the large set completely covers all the painted surfaces on an old mustang. The magnets in these a very strong. I like the hooks for cars with aluminum panels too. We'll see how long they last.
