Once assembled the climbing dome is quite large and perfect for our three kids who are six yrs and under. It feels quite sturdy for the pre-teen crowd. I got on it (~200lb male) and it held me without issue, but there was a slight bit of give (I may also need to go around and re-tighten all joints after the kids have played on it for a day?) so I'm not sure it would hold up to multiple large climbers. The assembly was quite frustrating and two adults are a MUST. I can't imagine how someone could put this together themself. A bit of assembly advice: we were having great difficultly getting the mid and upper level bars to meet properly. After a fair amount of time, struggle, and frustration, I decided to loosen all joints to half-tight or less (had everything a bit past "finger tight" up to that point) and then we were able to complete the assembly. The directions could be better as this was not at all mentioned and not all diagrams are in color. Each bar must be placed into a joint in a specific order based on bar color, so why not have all diagrams in color? Better yet, a 4-5min assembly instruction video on Youtube would go a long way in making the assembly process far less frustrating. Multiple bars received small scratches in the paint/powder coat where the bars come together in the joints. Not enough that it negatively affects cosmetics or functionality, but I worry it may lead to rust in the future? Hopefully not. Time will tell. Overall we are pleased with the quality, size, and final product. The kids LOVE it. ... show more

We got the 12 ft and my family really loves it. The dome is so versatile. It’s not only for climbing. There are so many things you can add to it. We have a swing (that my kids go on constantly) and some other things added. It’s a bonus for me, I use it for exercise a lot of the time. There are so many things to do and ideas if you get creative with it. And I was adamant about having it indoors. For some reason my kids are more likely to play on something like this more when it’s inside. We go to the park if they want to do it outdoors. For some reason the back yard is boring idk lol ... show more

Here are the positives for this product: Very sturdy once assembled Colorful Children love it Problems to be aware of: The directions are almost useless. The pictures do not accurately reflect the process. Make sure you have your own tools because those provided make the task even more arduous. Tools you will need: ratchet wrench with attachments open ended socket set Better for older, taller children, younger children will not be able to reach from one bar to the next. This climbing dome with tent took 4 people 3 days to assemble. Two people were folks who built their own homes!! If you are thinking of purchasing this I recommend at least 5 people working together to hold the bars together (in most cases there are 5 bars that need to be aligned and held in place, this is very challenging because the bars do not align correctly and it requires a very strong folks to hold them in place) then you need another person to place the bolts through the bars and then screw them together. You will need a 6th person to act as a runner to make trips to the local hardware store (we made 4 trips). The bolts for most of the structure needed to be 1/4 inch longer. The bolt on the very top is too long and would have pierced the tent top (needed to be 1/4” shorter). We bought this for our 3 year old granddaughter and realized that the bars were too far apart for her to reach from one bar to the next. This product is better for older, taller children. We ended up attaching wood to cover two of the triangular areas from the bottom and leading to the top and then attaching rock climbing hand and foot holds to the wood. This made it possible for the 3 year old to use this. I would not recommend this product because of the amount of time and manpower required to construct it and because of the useless directions. ... show more

Awesome climber, my kids love it. Within the first week of getting it assembled one of the top bars caved. I’ve been trying to reach out to the sellers for a replacement bar which I paid more for for this specific color scheme. Not a call or email back from the company.
