Style: 12FT Climbing Dome
Once assembled the climbing dome is quite large and perfect for our three kids who are six yrs and under. It feels quite sturdy for the pre-teen crowd. I got on it (~200lb male) and it held me without issue, but there was a slight bit of give (I may also need to go around and re-tighten all joints after the kids have played on it for a day?) so I'm not sure it would hold up to multiple large climbers. The assembly was quite frustrating and two adults are a MUST. I can't imagine how someone could put this together themself. A bit of assembly advice: we were having great difficultly getting the mid and upper level bars to meet properly. After a fair amount of time, struggle, and frustration, I decided to loosen all joints to half-tight or less (had everything a bit past "finger tight" up to that point) and then we were able to complete the assembly. The directions could be better as this was not at all mentioned and not all diagrams are in color. Each bar must be placed into a joint in a specific order based on bar color, so why not have all diagrams in color? Better yet, a 4-5min assembly instruction video on Youtube would go a long way in making the assembly process far less frustrating. Multiple bars received small scratches in the paint/powder coat where the bars come together in the joints. Not enough that it negatively affects cosmetics or functionality, but I worry it may lead to rust in the future? Hopefully not. Time will tell. Overall we are pleased with the quality, size, and final product. The kids LOVE it.

Definitely easier to build with more than one but… I did it myself and while it’s crazy time consuming it is doable. I agree with those who said don’t tighten until the end and for the love of all things holy pay attention to the order of the bars in each section. **On the second row** The 5 bar section starts at one place and the 6 bar section starts at another. If you feel like being stubborn and fighting it for no reason don’t do it in order and have a lovely time with nothing working. Otherwise great toy and my kids are super excited!

Updating review. First the box was missing a bar. The company promptly reached out to me and resolved the issue, and the piece was shipped quickly. However, this is still a divorce worthy project LOL. Attempt at your own risk, and maybe not with your spouse. Better yet hire someone that you don’t know to build it. FWIW we’re pretty handy. The kids love it though, and we placed it over their mud pit that they dug. All the neighbors come here to play

We got this because my taller tham average preschoolers cant really enjoy a lot of other climbing themed toys. It was kinda a pain to put together but once it was it is super sturdy and feels really high quality! The boys love it

Our kids love this climbing dome ! This dome is used for our five children, ages 2 through 8 years old. It keeps them entertained for hours and helps the younger ones with muscle control, climbing abilities, gives them confidence, while learning new skills. This was worth every penny spent. It also had the right colors that do not get hot in the sun.

Cons- it was difficult to follow the directions. I had help to assemble and still neither of us totally understood due to the written text and the diagrams not being clear between the two formats. We finally gave up on the diagrams. I would rate this as moderately difficult to assemble. The Youtube video has no audio, so it is not helpful either. I would not want to relive this experience in assemble again. Unless you have three adults to help move it assemble it where you want it. It is heavy. Pros- It is large, and sturdy once assembled. There are no sharp edges and seems to be as safe as a climbing dome can be.

We got the 12 ft and my family really loves it. The dome is so versatile. It’s not only for climbing. There are so many things you can add to it. We have a swing (that my kids go on constantly) and some other things added. It’s a bonus for me, I use it for exercise a lot of the time. There are so many things to do and ideas if you get creative with it. And I was adamant about having it indoors. For some reason my kids are more likely to play on something like this more when it’s inside. We go to the park if they want to do it outdoors. For some reason the back yard is boring idk lol
