Took awhile to install only because the wood beam of our house carries the electric cables and we had to dig the cables out of a tiny hole. The chain was too long as well as the cable so we had to cut the chain and strip the cable to be shorter. The included wire nuts worked perfectly over the old ones. This is a lovely fixture but the installation directions are minimal. No information is given about cutting the wire or chain if too long or threading the wire. Placing the wires under the canopy took us many attempts trial an error. I do love the fixture now that it is installed.

I bought 2 lights from Meuclee and i was not happy with either one. Both had terrible instruction. I searched the web for any additional info or videos that showed how to put this particular lamp together. After a lot of trial and error i did manage to put it together but thought i was missing a part because the piece in the pic doesn’t secure to the canopy. i emailed the company and they said that gravity hold it in place. But if i push it a little it will wobble. The other one was the 8 light black chandelier. Terrible instruction again. diagram with no inadequate labeling or to small to see and no parts list. I struggled with the very first step. and stopped there. i am not a novice, I’ve put up my own lights and fans in my house and if the direction are good it is pretty simple.
