Just go slow. 6 plants can be as much as 30-36 hours of trimming without this machine. 10 minutes with it, and another hour putting finishing touches on the buds. Had to finish some product off by hand but moves bulk quickly, ended up with 2 lbs ready to cure after using the machine for two hours by myself so it's well worth the money if you have a lot to go through. Two hours over two days of doing it by hand is a drastic difference and you would have to be really cheap not to invest in such a helpful device. 👍🏻 happy I have it and I hope it lasts for a few harvests 👍🏻 ... show more

This worked great for me. Such a time saver and easy on my arthritic hands. Does it do as good of a job as hand trimming? Well no, but I wasn't entering my herbs in any beauty pageants so I will take the time save and live with the extra sugar leaves! (The picture is trimmed wet with the trimmer bowl and then dried in the provided drying hanging rack) I feel like even is you use this product to trim and then hand trim you will still save loads of time. It took less time to do a whole plant than it use to take me for a branch or two. I have tried it for a wet trim so far and it went through like a beast. Next round I may try a dry trim with it. No sticky scissors and the bowl underneath catches all the trim. One thing I can say which should be pretty common sense, but hey this is a review for an herb trimmer sooo here goes, the blades are super sharp. I brushed up against the spare blade unpacking it and it will cut you be mindful of that when you lift the screen off the bottom to access the bowl also In conclusion would I buy it again? Not too excited on this one. It trimmed the outer leaves, along with the flowers turning it all into rough cut Shake not pretty trimmed buds. I'll re-review this in about 5 months

Looking at the other brands online, i was certain these all probably came out of the same factory lol. so i went with this one which was about 20-$30 less than others and came with a dry net.... comes with one serrated blade and one straight blade. then 2 wire thingys. no instructions on where or how to put these or anything by the way. but i ended up finding pictures of others and saw that the wire thing goes on last and then add the wing nut. remember which way the blade goes when taking off... but other than instructionless papers (ha), the quality seems awesome. Dry net also came in a little carry bag which was nice. ... show more

Works great, same as other brands but I plead with you to clean it first for safety, run it and pick off any loose metal bits. It appears to have not been cleaned after manufacturing so metal shaving/cnc oils can end up in end product. Reshimming blade and bending grate flusher as weld points worked wonders. I also used a silicone shim to help the blade float ... show more
