I read about Moissanite gems in general, and it seems that until recently it was much more expensive than this SecreTalk 2CT gem - although still much less expensive than diamonds. SecreTalk offers these gems at a very attractive price compared to just a few years ago, and they are surprisingly sparkly and brilliant. I'm sure a diamond expert with equipment could measure the difference between Moissanite and diamond, but we'd rather forego diamonds and have a very attractive Moissanite gem, saving our money for buying other things. Nerding out - silicon carbide is the material these gems are made of. Silicon carbide semiconductors are used in making the "power" chips used in electric cars, so silicon carbide wafers are increasingly used in the semiconductor industry.
