So we are a family of VERY fussy coffee drinkers. VERY fussy. During the past few years, I have found it impossible to find Melitta in my usual stores. Other brands somehow filtered more slowly, so I was constantly waiting for the coffee to empty from the filter (and it tasted a bit more bitter to us). I have ordered the Melitta 3 times. The first 2 times, we were back to brewing coffee better -- no waiting, no bitterness. This last order (7/2021) is showing the same backup in the filter. Ugh. Is it manufacture process? Is it not Melitta filters? Not sure, but I'm gonna look around at other brands. ... show more

I last bought these about eight years ago. We have coffee every morning and found that my guests had taken a whole pack last summer. Even so, after eight years I just ordered these again.
