I'm impressed with how well these work. They seem big, a lot bigger than the regular type of filters. And the package is also bigger, taking up more space. The extra expense is the biggest downside of getting these, when I can get a pack of 100 (the flat, single kind) for about half the price. But these do work for keeping the coffee grounds out of the coffee or making a mess all over inside the basket. They are easy to use. Just unfold it, and center it into the basket, with the center hole as your guide. I have to tuck it down into the basket in order to fill it with coffee. After putting your coffee in, you simply fold all four corners in, again with the little holes as your guide. Then finish brewing the coffee as normal. The disposing of these with the used grounds is also very simple. It lifts out and disposed very easily with most of the grounds kept inside. And it doesn't leave a big mess of grounds in the basket.     • Takes Effort, but Works Pretty Well
These accomplished what I wanted, which was to not have sludge or grounds in my cup of coffee. They are also easy to dispose of; I just shake it out of the basket and into my compost bucket. I rarely see anything remaining in the basket. That said, there is a good bit of effort involved in setting it up. There are very lightly punched, push out holes, but they tend to tear. I unfold the entire piece, cut an X in mine for the middle hole, then VERY gently push it into the basket. The middle almost always tears slightly, so I cut off a corner and add it to the middle. After putting in the coffee, I fold all the edges over, before adding the basket top and lid. If you are willing to put in the effort to set this up every day, you'll appreciate the little to no grungy stuff in your cup. If you don't want to take that much time and effort for a clean cup of coffee, these probably aren't for you. ... show more

Brew Rite Wrap Around Filters are so easy to use. There's a hole in center of filter. Line it up and put on bottom of basket. After adding coffee fold the filter over coffee grounds. When done percolating coffee, take filter out and put in trash. These filters are good as I don't get coffee grounds in my coffee. I bought these for my 12 cup percolator and they fit fine.
