Because I'm on a very limited budget I've tried the budget brands and even "house" brands from well-known stores around the country. I won't do it again. These are the highest quality filters, and they're proof-positive of the axiom that "you get what you pay for." They don't fold over or collapse during use, especially if you take a couple of seconds to press the seam open against the coffee basket before adding the coffee grounds. In addition, I like supporting quality brands that have been around for many years when I can.
