Wanted to start using a Keurig instead of regular coffee maker. We did not like the idea of the plastic pods. Came across this item and read the reviews and bought one. I have to say it is wonderful. I have used it now for about 5 days and it works great. I am using this item with kid gloves since some say the bottom separated and because I also think the lid could easily bend since the hinge is very small. So I am just careful and I also use the filters to keep the grinds out of my cup. When using the filters the lid does not want to close as tight but it still works just fine. After each cup I just rinse it off because the coffee grinds stick to the lid and replace the filter for my next cup. I would say that the filter will make the coffee not as strong so you could skip the filer if you grind your coffee beans course and not fine to keep the grinds out of your cup. Overall I love this item and so far it is awesome. Bought one for my mom and brother for a stocking stuffer!! ... show more

Great for use loose ground coffee. I like the stainless steel better than the plastic I had before. A little hard to clean, but just open it and let the grounds dry out. Then can bump it over the trash can. Coffee tastes good. Thinking of getting another one.

Great product. Much easier to clean than a mesh filter pod and no need to use a paper filter in addition. Taste is good. Only complaint I can think of is the lid didn't last but 2 weeks before the hinge broke and the way the pod fits in my Keurig this causes problems. With the lid now easily falling off, I've had several times where I spilled coffee getting the pod out of the coffee maker. ... show more

I don't drink coffee, but I've been using Keurig machines to brew cups, mugs, and travel mugs for years. 99% of the time I used loose tea, but occasionally I'll stick a teabag into it. This cup is the best I've come across. -- Instead of recessing the entire bottom of the cup to clear the needle, there is just a little indent to allow for it. That means you have a little more room in the cup for whatever you are brewing. -- The all-metal construction of the main body is nice. One thing I really like about it is that you can clear the used leaves with a flick of the hand. The adapter cups with the metal screening molded into the plastic body require more effort and fiddling around. -- And this is SO much better than the adapter that Keurig sells -- which requires you to remove a plastic part from the machine to use it. ... show more

    • Stick to a regular coffee maker or traditional pods
These are good quality and work in my keurig k300 2.0. However you have to use a filter (not included) and even then some grounds still get in your coffee. I bought this to cut down on single use plastics and save a little money, but ultimately it would be easier and more effective to just use my regular coffee maker. This requires just as much clean up as a coffee maker, if not more, and with a regular coffee maker you won’t have grounds floating in your coffee. If you’re trying to save money or cut down on plastics, just switch to a regular coffee maker, any brand of these will give you similar issues. ... show more
