  • Very nice hack
Color: Black Size: 1 Holder + 100 Foils + 1 Brush
New to Vertuo and enjoying it. This pod refiller kit seems to work very well and can save some money. Easy to get the hang of placing and sealing the cap on the reused pod. Maybe a bit less creme with the reused pods but that seems minor.

  • Works well and gets easier with practice. Works well and gets easier with practice.

I’ve been using the Nessus Reusable Pod Kit for Nespresso Vertuo, and overall it’s been a great experience. It’s easy to use, especially once you get the hang of it after the first couple of capsules. One tip: removing most of the foil from the old capsule’s ring really helps with getting a better seal and smoother operation. The first two uses took a little adjustment, but after that, the process became quick and straightforward. Can even added Lavender flowers in it for aroma. If you’re looking to save money and reduce waste, this is a solid option. Works well and gets easier with practice. ... show more

  • Great for saving money and I wrote a lot, you have been warned. Great for saving money and I wrote a lot, you have been warned.

It actually works much better than I thought it would. Two things to note, it does take a bit of patience and do not pack the coffee in it. It didn't work well when I did and errored the machine. The included directions were very good. I only messed up twice so far. I used the same banged up pod for a week with no issue. How I use this. You take the enclosed blade and cut the metal top off. I got right up to the edge of the inside of the cup. Wash the pod out. I used soap and water then towel dried it to make sure there was no drops left. Place the pod in the holder. I used Cafe Bustelo for a week with this. I used the mug sized pod and Mug size on my machine. You can use any ground coffee you like. I spooned a few teaspoons of coffee in it and used the top where the word Nessus is shown to put it name side down to level it out. I did not fill mine up. I actually left the outer edge pretty empty. It has worked best this way. Then you take the brush and sweep the outer ring to make sure no coffee is around the edge. Now this is where I seem to get messed up. I added pictures for reference. I take the sticker and turn it over folding the loose part of the inner circle over and then taking the strip off that same side. I stick the strip to the top of the pod and glue it down gently while I pull the other side of slowly to make sue the sticker is on the entire ring even with no bumps. I put the sticker against the raised side wall where the pod sits. Then you take the top and push down hard. This way you get a good adhesion. I go one step further. I make sure the sticker is curled up under the lip of the pod well. I also take the pod and the top portion and spin the pod in the area use to press it down to make sure the pod will spin freely. I usually prep the pod the night before so I don't have to think in the morning. The key to using the same pod over and over is when you cut out the center ring you make sure you take the outside sticker off the rim until you are left with the original pod. The time I left a few stickers on did not go well and made the machine error. For what it is worth this is one of the better reuse of Nespresso pods I have seen. My son like the coffee but I happen to like a brand (Caribou) that doesn't make any pods for Nespresso just the K-cup. I found that there is great coffee buying direct from Nespresso but when I want a cup of what I love I use this. I store this in a little dry container. I also cut the instructions off he box and stuck it inside. I hope this helps. ... show more

  • Best kit for refilling your own pods
Color: Black Size: 1 Holder + 100 Foils + 1 Brush
These are easy to use and so far I have had no issues. The only thing I would recommened is that the kit include a scoop with a tamping end to help fill the capsules.

  • This is the way to go with Nespresso
Color: Black Size: 1 Holder + 100 Foils + 1 Brush
Having a Nespresso coffee maker is a mixed bag. On the one hand, it makes an excellent cup of coffee complete with creama. On the other hand, the pods are expensive, offer less variety and are harder to find than K-cups. So, it only makes sense to find a way to use your own coffee. I tried the reusable stainless steel pods. They’re ok. Then I tried this system where you reuse original Nespresso pods, filling them with your coffee of choice, then sealing them with the included foil covers. This makes a far superior cup of coffee than the stainless steel pods. But it takes a bit of effort to do so. The key is finding the right grind, which is somewhere between regular drip and espresso grinds. I lean towards the latter. It also takes a bit of practice and patience to fill the pods and seal them properly, but once you get the hang of it you’ll find that it actually kinda enjoyable. In all, I’ve found that this is the best way to make a Nespresso cup of joe while reducing cost, waste and using using your on coffee. ... show more

  • A Lot of Effort for Small Return.
Color: Black Size: 1 Holder + 100 Foils + 1 Brush
I’m not sure this is worth the effort. Sure it’s environmentally friendly and maybe less expensive, but it is putzy to assembly these pods. All the work and I’m not sure I liked the taste of the coffee even though I was using grounds that I like.

  • A decent alternative.
Color: Black Size: 1 Holder + 100 Foils + 1 Brush
This reusable pod kit worked okay and did make coffee, but it took a bit more work than I expected. Filling the pods, tamping the grounds, and cleaning everything afterward takes more time than i originally thought. It can also get a little messy, especially when dealing with the used coffee grounds. That said, if you're looking to cut down on waste or save money on pods, it does work as advertised. Overall, I'm glad I tried it, but I find myself reaching for it less often because of the extra prep and cleanup. It's a decent option if convenience isn't your top priority. ... show more
