Really nice brewer, very tasty coffee on Bold. I drink a bit stronger than they recommend, and it's very consistent. It took me some time to get used to programming the start timer, but then it's the first programmable coffee maker for me. Also it's on a 24 hour clock, so you need to take this into account when setting clock and timer. But this is a small concern once you have used it a few times. It stays hot for 2 hours, but long before this, I transfer the coffee to a stainless steel thermos, so win win. Average brew time for a full pot is about 10 min. It gives you 20 sec. to pour out a cup mid-brew. Nice size, good for small space. ... show more

Really like the contemporary styling and the size. Doesn't look as huge as some machines sitting on your countertop. The high brewing temp really brings out all the flavor of your coffee and requires less coffee (grounds) to make a great cup. I always feel like a cone machine works better and cone filters are always easier to handle. Brews quickly and it's not unbearably noisey like some. Clock is 24 hour format only, no biggie. Does not have a water filter. Does not leave a lot of condensation in the reservoir compartment after brewing like some. It is a 10 cup machine and we've always had bigger, but making the occasional second pot is no deal breaker and your coffee is fresh, and HOT! Definitely recommend. ... show more

Love the fact that it arrived the next day after ordering, and is easy to use. Great for brewing a simple cup of coffee. I don't need or want lots of bells and whistles or a bulky machine sitting on my counter. This gets the job done.

After only about a year of ownership I’m already hunting another coffee maker. I could not get the programming feature to ever work. The hot plate is rusting. I does an ok job of brewing but it takes a while to make a full pot and a full pot is only 10 cups.
