This rack installed perfectly on my 2021 Transit 250. Instructions were easy to follow. It gave my DIY conversion a much more polished look. Compared to some other racks, I like the low profile of this rack. At a very fair price as well.

Assembly is involved and time consuming…not for the “assembly challenged”…everything fits well and assembles well, just time consuming, but worth it…reason for 4 stars…you might elect for professional installation. Otherwise, the best rack I’ve found to hold four Renogy 200 wt solar panels for my Transit 350 high-top, requiring a low profile. Note: layout is flexible to accommodate different sized panels in various positions, but, if you assemble with panels long, front to back, you may have to drill new holes in the cross members. Not a problem, but just so you know. Anyway, you’ll need to assemble the rack on the ground before installing it. For the Transit, the rack’s feet fit the indentation mounting positions on the vehicle perfectly. Basically…difficult assembly and installation, but engineered excellently for satisfaction when completed…HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Looks great, too. Fits medium and long length vans. Short vans would require cutting the side rails.

Worked out perfect for my 200-watt solar panels for my new 12 volt AC unit that I installed, lots of fasteners, but very straightforward. Take your time when you're assembling this rooftop rack. P. S. This company doesn't make a rack for a 130-inch wheelbase van, but it worked out without having to cut anything, just a lot of extra parts & wasted money

We purchased the roof rack for a transit cargo van. We set all of the parts out on the ground as instructed; in the order they showed in the diagram. We counted all nuts, bolts, and other parts and were missing nothing. My husband and I put it together according to the instructions and it took about 4 hours but was easy to follow. I would recommend this roof rack for a van similar to ours.

Easy to install, but not nearly enough hardware for the solar panels missing a lot of hardware and I had to go out and buy all the stainless steel bolts and nuts and everything.

So far the roof rack looks great! The rack was double box for shipping and all the hardware were wrap-in bubble wrap for protection. Now waiting on my van to be built next month so I can mount it. This roof rack looks exactly like the one sold from RV conversion outfitters and it’s about $1000 cheaper. YouTube has a couple of videos showing how to assemble the roof rack and mounting it on the Ford Transit high roof.
