  • Nice budget scooter
Basic scooter. Much better ride with rear wheel motor. I have wrecked several times in front wheel scooters. All scooters should be made this way. Small battery but makes it lighter and more versatile

  • It's worth every penny!
The media could not be loaded. We bought this for our sons birthday, he's 10 and he's bigger like an adult, the other scooters he exceeded the weight limit for kids scooters, so we stuck with "adult" sized scooter. It's perfect for him! Even the whole family loves it. It keeps a decent charge throughout the entire day, even riding on highest speed. We are liking it so far! He has fell on it 3 times and it holds up well still. Made well. Plus we like the grip tape, does help. We plan on buying another one soon!! The only downfall is the brakes don't work when battery level is too low, expected bc the battery needs charged. It is an excellent electric toy. Would recommend! ... show more

  • Fun and easy- sad update- it dies!
The media could not be loaded. Update- a week later and it’s apparently dead! I used it daily for 5 days, didn’t use it for 2 days and now it’s dead. Won’t start up. I followed all instructions to the letter. Guess I’ll be contacting the company and will let you know what happens. I’m in my 50’s and play pokemon but don’t always have a lot of time. This was easy to put together and has been easy for me to fold the handle down and carry around. Just be sure the weight isn’t to much for you and it should be fine. I’ve used it a few times now. I charge it for 3-4 hrs after running the battery down. First time I used it I found my balance fairly easily and kept my knees relaxed for bumps. I have a super long driveway in poor shape so very bumpy. I can ride all the way up and back easily. I have motorcycle experience so maybe that helped me with balance and curves/turns? It’s cold out which always affects batteries plus I did drive it at dusk once so the light drained the battery faster too. I was able to go a bit over 5 miles without recharging. I’m also not a lightweight- over 150lbs which I understand takes more battery too. I coast to slow and then gently break or just put my foot down because I’d read reviews about the break. This is not a young children's toy. It works how I expected. I have a helmet and will be getting goggles, horn and gloves. My eyes tear up from the wind, my ears get cold so I’m going to use ear muffs and a horn will be useful. Gloves will keep my hands warm and protected- I’ll get some I can use all year without getting to hot. So far I’m having fun with it! ... show more

  • Works for very short daily commute, poor battery life
Taking this from five stars down to four. The scooter itself has been perfect for what I use it for! The speed is accurate, and down hills I can even push about 20mph. However, the battery life is HORRIBLE. My workplace is a little under 4 miles away, almost entirely downhill. It takes up to 60% of my battery! I have to charge it while I'm at work, because the ride home takes up almost 100% of the battery. On top of this, after a little under 2 months of use, the motor will occasionally slow down very suddenly before picking up again. I'll be going 15mph, then almost get thrown off when the scooter decides to abruptly slow or stop. However, this issue is rare, and swwms to only happen when the road gets gravel-y, and only lasts a second or two. I did get into one accident because of this issue, during a very light rain (a snow storm was coming, but hadn't hit yet). The front headlight is also extremely dim, to the point of being almost useless, so I've had to mount a light on the front. On the plus side, the scooter otherwise works great! My accident didn't seem to damage anything aside from cosmetic appearance, and it still reaches its full speed without issue. I can ride in pouring rain with zero problems, and the handling for turns is VERY GOOD, even when going fast! Thus scooter has also been very friendly for my disability! One of my legs doesn't work very well, yet I've had no issues with this scooter that impact my condition. Standing on this scooter is easy, and I feel supported even without a seat. Overall, I'd say it's worth the money! Just be sure to keep an eye on the battery, and maybe get a mounted light. ... show more

  • Incredibly happy with this purchase
Pros: - price (under $300) - build (solid) - speed (16.3mph on flat surface for 2+miles) *I rode parallel to my wife on my bigger scooter to clock the speed) - distance (we did almost 10 miles and battery charge level shows about 50% remaining, but it could be closer to 25%, which is the next bar down once it reaches that level. So 26-50% left realistically) - incline level & speed (lots of under road passes on the trail so many up and down slopes of 10-25%, and the scooter maintained speed and managed all the slopes flawlessly. (Wife weighs 55kg/121lbs) - display and acceleration (bright and clear, smooth speed increase) - weight (my wife cannot carry mine, which is over double the weight of her’s - this scooter. The light weight is very important for her) Cons: - poor shock absorber (teeth rattler over bumps and seams between asphalt or concrete joins, or small dips and potholes) - noisy rear mudguard (tinny rattling sound as the rear wheel goes over small bumps or cracks) - no digital lock (turn it on and go, so if someone cuts through the cable lock I bought, then they can use the scooter) - no cruise control (having to hold the throttle lever down for long trips is irritating and makes your thumb ache) Reason for 5 Star ⭐️ rating. For the money, the solid build, speed and distance, as well as easy to use controls, and a very bright front light make it perfect for us and our trips to the local shops, hospitals, restaurants and scenic trails. All within a 5 mile radius. Super happy with this purchase despite some small annoyances. ... show more
