This plantar fasciitis splint works very well and has all the adjustment straps needed to ensure you have your foot locked in to the right position to allow it to heal while you sleep. I can't say much about the pink color but I guess since I'm wearing it at night, no one will see it! As for the strap adjustments, there are straps along the sides and the axis of your foot so you can ensure the splint pulls your foot in the right directions to flex it in the correct manner. This is much better than the single straps used by other splints. The other aspect of this splint I really liked is that you can actually walk with this splint. Many splints have so much padding or material in the sole of the splint that your feet becomes unbalanced and makes it difficult to walk. Since the splint wraps around the front and arch of your foot, your heel is left free to walk on. This splint is comfortable and works well.

I so wanted this to work. I have a hard-sided splint for my plantar fasciitis that works great, but is extremely uncomfortable to wear to bed. I had hope this soft-sided splint would be a comfy alternative, but unfortunately I can't get it tight enough to get a good stretch rendering basically pointless. I rated this 3 because although it doesn't work for me it may work well for others. I will note hat I have bigger calves and the upper velcro doesn't give me enough leverage to get the fit I need to make it work. I suspect it would work better for those with smaller calves. Lastly, the ball that comes with this splint is definitely not for me, it hurt to use and doesn't have any give. I'll stick to tennis balls.

Of course, as always, it's important that you consult with your own doctor before using a tool like this. Only you and your doctor can determine what's right for your specific health needs. That being said, I experience plantar fasciitis, and I've been told by my podiatrist that a device like this might help by stretching my foot and not permitting my toes to point downward while I'm asleep. So far, this device is doing exactly that: keeping my foot at a healthier angle. The guidelines say to start off using this for brief intervals and working your way up, so I've been doing that. I also really like that this one isn't black. Most of my other braces and supports are basic black, but this one (at least the version I picked up) is a nice bright shade of pink. That will make telling the various braces apart a little easier. I'll update this review if anything changes, but for now, it's a five-start item for me!

The color contrast between the pink brace and the black velcro tabs at the end make it a lot easier to put on and take off than a black on black version. The metal bar is a little hard, even with the paid, and I don't feel the stretch as much as I thought I would.

I actually purchased this splint to help with my restless leg syndrome that sometimes occurs during the day. Rather than having to get up and stretch my calves repeatedly when my leg becomes uncomfortable and restless, I put on this splint to give my calf a slight stretch. It doesn't resolve my problem, but it gives me another option for dealing with the pain involved with restless leg syndrome. I certainly can't confirm this as a medical solution, but it does help me. I have another brand of this type of splint. Although this splint fits better, I like the simplicity of securing the other brand's splint. My only complaint is that I have a small foot, and regardless of how I secure this splint, it's still a bit loose.

I know this night brace was made for a variety of foot maladies but I’m using it for one only - foot drop - and boy am I pleased. For those of you not familiar with foot drop it’s a condition where you loose your ability to independently move your foot due to spinal nerve damage which keeps you from having a normal gait because your foot doesn’t lift when taking a step. Not only is it annoying but also dangerous because it causes you to trip on the floor. During the day I wear a leg brace which fits in my shoe and helps lift my foot when walking. But at night when you have to leave bed you’re in trouble. This brace is comfortable to wear in bed and gives your foot the lift you need on your night strolls which means less chance of falling. It can be adjusted to fit any foot and isn’t at all cumbersome. It’s a winner for both design and comfort. I’m very satisfied and highly recommend it !

This took me forever to figure out, but then again I’m not good putting together things with multiple parts. Once I had everything in place, I was able to pull back the front loop to get a certain amount of tension on my plantar fasciitis. It’s much smaller than my old Velcro boot, which was coming apart, so I could easily travel with this, which is nice. Seems well made and durable, and once you figure out the directions, you should be good to go!
