The fit isn't as good as I hoped. It is difficult to put it on because of where they put the Velcro. But once it's on it does make the pain feel so much less. I like it overall.

Once you get the product on, it felt good. I find that if you are having pain I needed help to get it on. At times I felt rubbing on my thigh. Time will tell.

I bought this for my mother who has sciatica. She is 5'8" with a long torso. The upper piece is supposed to go around the lower back, but the length is so short that it had to be put around her hips, taking away the point of it being back supportive. Then the leg piece had to be positioned so far up the thigh that it pulled on both the upper piece and thigh piece, making it uncomfortable. I feel that the attaching portion between both parts needs to be longer. She was able to use only one strap at a time, back without the thigh and vice versa for comfort and relief. She said it did help a bit, but I feel that it needs some adjustment or should only be used by people with shorter torsos. The fabric is nice and can be washed. The velcro is super strong and stays put. None the less, it is a nice product. ... show more

I bought the calf version of this; it works as it should in stopping the sciatica pain almost immediately however, mne kept falling down to my ankle when I stood up. I saw the one with the hip belt on Amazon and it keeps it in place. Great buy!

I have tried a few things to help with my sciatica pain (i.e. pillows, compression garments, stretches). Not sure if there is a cure for sciatica aside from physical therapy, but i can't engage in that at the moment due to the pandemic (trying to keep distance from everyone and everything). I experience slight pain running up and down my right thigh throughout the day. It is a hard feeling to describe, but its just a feeling that my thigh is not operating as normal. It is lite, but there are moments where it is sharper than usual. I mostly feel it when sleeping and trying to turn from one side of the mattress to the other. Due to the pain, i end up rotating myself to the other side of the bed very slowly. I got this to really help me walk better because i feel like i hunch over to help avoid pain to my thigh. As noted, i feel slight pain as if my ham string was ripped, pulled apart, or in the process of being ripped and pulled apart in opposite directions. I have a regular compression short for working out at the gym. It works great and after about 8 - 10 mins of walking, the pain is gone and i feel like i am back to my normal self. I am able to walk without any pain and can stand up straight with proper posture. However, i wanted to explore different options. I got this and i am a bit disappointed. I knew combo items are always a let down and this one did not disappoint. I am PLUS size so things just never fit right. I got the largest size but everything always feels misplaced, like it just doesn't fit right. The stomach part doesn't feel right and the thigh brace doesn't sit right on the thigh. If i lower the stomach piece to make the thigh fit, then the stomach piece feels off. Not a win-win. So i decided to cute this up and now it operates a tad better. The neoprene fabric always feels soooo good on the body. I can rub my hands on this material all day. I think positioning where you strap the thigh brace on is important to help ease the pain along with how tightly the closure straps are. I am thinking the tighter/firmer it is, the better it is for the thigh and pain. However, it takes me about 8 - 10 mins of walking before the pain goes away. My regular compression garment does that as well. Either way, the thigh brace works. The stomach piece to me is useless because i am plus size and my gut is always spilling out over this thing. It isn't solid and sturdy enough to function well as a stomach brace. However, it functions better now as 2 separate pieces versus the 1 two-piece it was originally. I just wish there was a cure for sciatica pain because i cannot wear these 2 braces for the rest of my life. Regardless, it worked better after splitting the two. The thigh brace definitely helped me stand up straight again without slouching, and i like being able to walk without pain in my thigh. Think before buying, as there are better options for separate pieces out there. ... show more

I got this for my the fact my hip pops out of place and it’s been a real game changer. It doesn’t pop out as much and the top part helps a lot with my sciatica pain and helps support my lower si joint

It does reduce the pain but the smell of the belts material in the beginning was horrible (it went away after almost a week) . I might not get the right size but the thigh straps are just not right for me even though I tried to adjust it many times (either loose or too tight) when I walk and sit. These definitely something that you wear underneath your dress or at home, the straps on the thigh hugging you buttock in a funny way and for me, not something that i’d walk out with. Other than that, it does reduce my pain. So it works ! ... show more
