Bought for my brother who is visiting from overseas. He has difficulties walking and with the chair we could enjoy museums and outdoors. Very easy to fold, just grab the handles and pull up and it’s closed. Push down to open. Sturdy enough, my brother is heavy and it was ok. Feels somewhat heavy to push after a while on carpets or grass but it is expected with small wheels. You can make it smaller by easily folding the back and removing foot rests. But it fits in a Camry trunk, with footrests on and back unfolded, with no problem. You can carry with the handles when folded and it is very light. Red is a tad darker, more of a wine color. Overall we like it for elderly mom, nice and light feels sturdy fairly easy to maneuver, easy to fold up and put in car when we go places. Wish it had a little larger front wheels to make it easier to get over small bumps and the transition from floors to carpet etc. Can be a little tricky to maneuver through average sized household doorways especially in tight hallways. Excellent service from the company, the one Amazon delivered was broken, but we got in touch with company, they had us send a few pictures of the problem and delivered a new one to us within a couple of days. ... show more

The wheels are smaller wheels but this chair works for those travel days as it's very light in comparison to other chairs and easily manageable in almost any car or trunk. It wheels smoothly and effortlessly. Took this chair on a vacation and it did nicely. Even has a cup holder included. Legs fold out of the way when not in use. I am my husband’s caregiver. Of late, after two years of lugging his very heavy wheelchair, I incurred a physical ailment that will need surgery. Light weight and easy to collapse. Fits easily in trunk area. Fits under table tops easily for dining. Must be pushed, can’t self-propel but not intended to. Great for appointments or just to get out. A little difficult going forward over raised surfaces but escort to back over them.

This product is well made of quality material, and great craftsmanship. It is lightweight which is great, since I am a 75 year old with arthritis etc. I can fold it and place in my SUV. We use this when we get my mom out and about. It's comfortable for her, and really lightweight. My sisters and I are all over 60, and we can each get it in and out of the car alone. It fits in the trunk, and also in the backseat if you don't have any other passengers. We've been using it for about a year and it's still in good shape. Since the wheels are small, they sometimes get caught on cracks and thresholds, so you just have to go slow and be careful and sometimes turn it around and go backwards, but that's no problem for us.
