  • For a smaller adult.
Size: 18" Seat Width
This chair with the 18" wide seat is great for my need. I'm in a leg brace due to an injury. I'm straight leg for 6 weeks. My insurance provided the brace & crutches. I'm 5'5" & 122 lbs. This chair fits me well. And the chair back/push handles are adjustable height. So my 6'2" spouse can push comfortably. It seems sturdy. We've taken it in & out of vehicles, through the airport & they loaded & unloaded it. The adjustable leg support is good. I can get just the right angle. I'm learning to propel myself now that I'm a week post-injury & it rolls smoothly. I don't think this one would work for a taller person - get a bigger chair. ... show more

  • Great product.
Size: 18" Seat Width
Great, light wheelchair. We only have a need for one for 6-8 weeks but buying was less expensive than renting. Relatively light at about 22 lbs and I have no problems loading into and out of our forester. Easy to expand for use or fold for storage. Two leg supports that are easy to install or remove. Seems to be well made but we have only had it for 3 weeks. Recommend a seat cushion to go with it if you anticipate extended use. It comes fully assembled so just unbox and it is ready for use. ... show more

  • Good Price for features. Fit through RV 26.75" door. Cheapish connections / Clamps
Size: 18" Seat Width
My wife was arriving by transport from Trauma ICU in two days and I was scampering to not only find a wheelchair that would fit our RV 26.75" wide door, but that would not be too expensive and would arrive on time. This chair covered all of that. The chair has leg supports and fold back arms, which were required. Its seems comfortable and it was easy to assemble. The leg support / foot rests install and remove easily for storage. I used a long aluminum ramp that I removed from my box truck as our ramp to RV. This fit right through the door, which is 26.75" wide. The ramp itself has a raised edge on each side that measured about 25" center to center. The round hand rail on the chair wheels, where the person in the chair grabs to roll the wheels, was also very close to that measurement and due to the height of the ramp sides, the chair would not fit between. This was easily fixed by removing those wheel rails, which are held on by screws. My wife cannot use them anyway. The main downsides I have found.. 1. Arms do not remove completely. They unlatch from the front and fold up and back. 2. Connections, like where the front of the arm latches, and other latching mechanisms seem weak. I would feel safe putting any amount of stress on them. Luckily these are not in spots that are critical. ... show more

  • This COULD HAVE BEEN a 5-Star......But NOT !
Size: 18" Seat Width
This wheelchair checks a lot of boxes - good welding on the structure, reasonably lightweight, clever attachment mechanism for the main wheels, easily collapsible for transport, comfortable seating, good adjustability on the leg supports..........BUT it comes with ONE FATAL FLAW: these utterly STUPID smooth, hard-plastic main wheels, that make it virtually impossible for the rider to move about on a carpeted surface, or even a smooth hard surface - like tile. The main wheels just slip - no traction at all, despite the weight of the user. Tried it with a 130 pound person, then with a 230 pound person. Same results.. (The dimwit that dreamed up those smooth wheels should be confined to one of these chairs for a week or so, in order to realize the absurdity of the "design".) That "feature" makes this chair utterly useless. Anyhow, I was about to return it, but after searching through other options, discovered that most of the other offerings also have the same STUPID SMOOTH WHEELS. Then I discovered a set of replacement wheels WITH TREAD, ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B9GSGH2S?ref=fed_asin_title&th=1 ) so before returning the chair, I decided to try those. They fit, but are just a bit larger diameter than the originals, which jammed into the brakes on both sides. That required removal and modification of both brake mechanisms to allow them to release from the wheels. After replacing the main wheels with treaded versions plus the required mods to make them work, the chair is now useful. But it is very annoying to have to spend an additional $100 for useful wheels, and an hour of additional work to make the treaded wheels work right. ... show more
