I was surprised at how thick the fabric is. Since I've only had it out for a month it hasn't really been put to the test yet. I have it on a wicker loveseat. The rain beads right off it and there's sturdy tie downs for the legs. The true test will be the summer sun and seeing how much it fades. I bought several ULTCOVER covers...chair, sofa, firepit....The material feels sturdy, they fit well and they are doing their job. The only issue I have, is I've only had them a month and they are already faded (not just one of them...all of them, so I know it's not a fluke). I've included a close up picture. The left is a new one I haven't used yet, on the right is one that's only a month old. I wouldn't expect it to be so faded already. I bought another brand for my sectional since ULTCOVER didn't have the size I needed and that cover is still a nice black (i.e. no fading). While it's more important to keep my furniture looking nice, I prefer that my covers also look nice since right now (winter) that's what I'm looking at most. ... show more

These are a must have and certainly are just as good as the top dollar covers. Keeps my cushions dry and ready to use even after a flash flood. The clips certainly are a huge help to keep them on during heavy winds.

I was very impressed with the quality of these covers. They have tightening straps and drawstrings around the bottom. Of course getting the correct size is important. I'm using these on handmade furniture so the sizes are standard, but I went with the size that is slightly larger than my measurements to allow some extra play in coverage. One of my loveseat covers is actually covering two chairs sitting side by side and works great. The chairs were to big for a. Single cover and are sitting relatively close together so it worked out great. I have a full set of thick outdoor seat cushions on the seats in this picture and everything is covered nicely, without having to continuously remove the cushions every time it looks like rain. Couldn't be happier. Even purchased an umbrella cover as well. One thing I have noticed is that it does not have any annoying strings fraying off of it, I have another canopy and there are always extra long strings that fray (not a fan of this). I'd definitely recommend these covers and I've actually purchased additional ones, already. ... show more

We bought a bunch of these covers in various sizes for a ton of patio furniture. I am too lazy to review each different cover, so I chose the sofa cover to review (same sentiment for all the different sizes we bought). This is after a year of using them. These are very well made and work extremely well. They are heavy and provide great protection from the elements. In our case, the main reason we got them was to use them in the early spring when the pine pollen covers everything and cleanup is a major chore if your furniture is not protected. They are easy to get on and off if you plan carefully (more on that later), so we put them on during the pollen season and then remove them for weekends outdoors and put them back on and then once the pollen isn’t flying, we take them off and store them until the next season. They are easy to secure in place and easy to remove, but they are heavy if you have lots of them. Major tip: take a Sharpie and label what each cover is for if you have a variety of furniture to cover like we do. I spent 15 minutes trying to get the sofa cover on before I realized I was trying to put the chase cover on the sofa. Also, measure your furniture carefully so you order what will fit. We have been super happy with them and have recommended them to several friends that also been well-pleased with them. The relatively few negative reviews seem to come from those that have used them to cover furniture completely exposed to the elements for extended periods of time. You will be hard-pressed to find any solution if that is your intention. We have been super happy with our purchase even though these are expensive. ... show more

We replaced covers that were supposed to be able to hold up to MN winter and summer, these so far have done a great job, but they're going into their first winter. So far they fit great and secure well to the legs.
