Found that 4-6, 90 quart plastic tubs will fit. Tons of storage plus easy to clean underneath. I recommend screw on mattress holder gadgets along the top perimeter to keep the mattress in place.

This bed frame is heavy, but was easy to put together. It does not slide around or shift. Attaching a headboard was easy as well, and the height of the frame is great for under the bed storage. I recommended this to a friend who was moving and needed a new bed frame and she loves it too!

I ordered it on a Friday & it came the following Thursday. The instructions were clear and the set up was quick and easy. I was able to set it up with my 3 year old grandson "helping". This frame was super easy to assemble! instructions were clear as day, took me about 30-45 minutes to assemble, by myself. It’s all metal even the middle bars, making it super durable and sturdy. I was looking for something for my guest room that wouldn’t break the bank yet was of good quality. I lucked out with this! I highly recommend if you’re looking for something basic, sturdy, modern, that’s going to last.

This was easy enough for me (a logistics/left-brained challenges individual) to put together with ease. Just make SURE the height is EXACTLY what you want/need because there are no other options. But it doesn't squeak and is very sturdy, which is VERY IMPORTANT to us as: 1. My husband is a 'big & tall' man; 2. We engage in a lot of, umm..."activities" in the bedroom (😉); 3. Squeaking during the after mentioned 'activities' would be a dead giveaway to any kiddos (or other guests) in the house. Great product for the price!!

The assembly was easy, the frame is sturdy and light. However, once the mattress was on we realized that the bars are too slick, and the mattress slides around rather easily. Some friction tape will alleviate this.
