For the first 5 months, they were comfortable, but after that, you could start to feel the mechanics of the massager in the chair, the footrest didn't wanna go in, and the armrest started bowing out. Now one of the arms on my chair snapped. So the foot portion of 1 of the chairs doesn't work at all. This is a nice quality loveseat. All boxes came together and my husband put it together. It only took him about 45 minutes. Instruction book very good with directions. The loveseat is very comfortable, it vibrates and has heat control which is wonderful. It has 2 places to hold your drinks, and middle console, which is nice to hold odds & ends. It comes in 5 boxes but you don't know that, use to companies put 1 of, 2 of etc. So you knew. If you under 6 foot nice recliner, over try a different one. Over all decent Reclining loveseat.
