The swing itself seems pretty sturdy, though way too short for my 6'2" husband to enjoy. I'm 5'6", and it works fine for me. He was able to put it together in about an hour, though the shrink-wrapped "nuts & bolts" were mislabeled. The wrong ones were indicated for the very first section, and wouldn't even go thru the pre-drilled holes. After getting everything straight, it went together pretty easily. I would recommend this for those who are smaller of stature. Still, I do feel it is a good value for the price, and looks nice in in our garden. ... show more

The canopy is held in place by a plastic assembly and 2 small screws. As the wind blows, the screw holes in the plastic assembly tear allowing the canopy to blow back and forth even though it is supposed to be held tightly by the bracket. It has already blown off the deck destroying the plants in the bed behind the deck. Without the canopy, the swing is fine just a little low if you are tall. Update: customer service contacted me about the canopy issue. After sending photos of the issue, they will be sending me the top bar parts. Their customer service is impressive and they have gone to extra lengths to address the issue. Due to that, I changed my review to 5 stars. ... show more

I liked everything except that it is way to tilted back. Need to use pillows to sit up, if I don't I'm belly up and it uncomfortable. So now I need to invest in a cushion. Easy to put together and yes its sturdy and looks to be well made. Would not buy this swing again because its to tilted back and almost has you laying back. ... show more

It is a very narrow seating distance so you end up setting on a metal bar that is higher then the seat. It is fairly short also in height. Color is pretty amd the netting is done well just smaller then really usable for an adult.

My biggest down side to the swing is the roof/Umbrella top you set it lock it in place but is doesn’t matter the wind makes it blow front to back I’m afraid it’s going to break or strip it to where I can’t set in when I want to set on it
