When my brother's lift chair stopped working, had to quickly replace it. Not something that we would normally purchase on-line without seeing, but this was able to be delivered and set up more quickly than one from a local furniture store. Brother has used for a few months now and finds the chair comfortable and easy to operate. He is tall, and the foot extension on the end is a really good benefit for him as it keeps his feet from dangling over the edge. Was concerned about the cup holders at the front of the arms because he needs support to stand up. Found out that the arms are firmer by the cups and it is actually easier to push off from them than it was on the softer arms of his previous chair. My response to Mcombo when I purchased one of the remotes for their poorly made lift chairs. They had the nerve to cancel my order and tell me that they are sorry instead of accommodating me and then ask me if they solved my problem!!: The information said that one item was available. I purchased it and I was told that it was being shipped. I received an email saying that it was no longer available! I'm a 71 yr old disabled person and I really needed the item! 1st of all your lift chairs are not put together well 😑! The screws constantly fall out of the part that lifts the chair and no matter how many times the screws are replaced they continue to come out or break! I purchased this Mcombo chair in 2019 and just a few months after purchasing it it began to be a constant issue. It was past the last day of return and I didn't purchase the warranty because it is too expensive. I referred you to a very dear friend and she purchased lift chair from you and she began to have issues too. She'd purchased the warranty however, it didn't cover repairing the entire issue so she would have pay out of pocket more than it'd cost to purchase another chair. Both of us are on fixed incomes and we're both disabled. She passed a couple of months ago which has nothing to do with the chair but plenty of times we struggled just to get up to the bathroom because we are both incontinent. I hurt in my body every where and I get cold a lot. I've already replaced the remote control to lift my chair because the cable came aloose from the remote like a cheap cell phone charger because it was poorly made. Now my son-in -law is changing the screws every day because they keep breaking. I've asked one of my daughters to purchase me another lift chair because I'm afraid that the screws will come out or break when I'm home alone and no one will be her e to help me get up like yesterday. I used the bathroom on myself for several hours because I was home alone with no one to help me get up. I cried because I felt so humiliated. You know that your products are poorly manufactured and parts need to be replaced so you should always have them available and not for a ridiculous price. I'd seen the remote replacement for the heat and massage but it was $90 plus dollars and could not afford to buy it. When I saw it was $25 and there was only one I felt like one of my so many issues with my chronic disease was solved and I would be able to have some and massage therapy for my painful body. I know that you can provide me with that replacement remote control but you'd rather send me a dear John letter as if it solves my problem with your product! It's not acceptable! I've read other reviews recently that people having the same experience and you are dealing with derly sick and disabled people. You are a cruel heartless company and I don't know how you sleep at night in peace when you are supposed to be providing a product that provides peace for a people who desperately want to be able to be comfortable and as independent as possible during our final days. You should invest in fixing the problems with your products and services. I will never refer you to any one again nor will I eve purchase any Mcombo lift chairs or products from you!! How damn hard could it be to provide me or others with the remote that I need?!!! You can do much better if you have the best interest of people at heart! However, it's obvious that you are only interested in making a secure financial future for yourself!!! My wife is cute and SHORT... This chair has so many great features, but for us the most important is that it's built for smaller people. It was simple to assemble. The finished product feels good and sound. The fabric is excellent. The extra features of heat, massage and lift all work well. The power recline feature is great! Storage pockets and beverage holder are handy, welcome features, as well. We have other Mcombo furniture that we are pleased with. Not cheap, but not overpriced. Decent value! Yup! My mother is 89 and she thinks this chair is "the best chair I've ever had". She says the fabric is soft and the chair is comfortable. She has called me to tell me repeatedly how wonderful this chair is. I'm so glad she feels this way, for I had been worried about the quality being good enough. Once we received the chair we were very pleased with it. We didn’t like the shipping since we received 1 box on Sunday afternoon & the other box Tuesday afternoon. Had someone here on Sunday to put chair together & fortunately they were able to come back Tuesday night to put chair together. Someone needs to coordinate the delivery better. ... show more
