The company sent me two bases one with a lifting cylinder and one without, even though they didn't have to since the warranty was up. I installed it and it works again. I'm hoping the old base was just a bad fluke. If not please make sure the welds are better, even if it costs a little bit more. ((Old Review)) After a little over a year my Mother's chair started only going up on one side. After I looked underneath it I saw that the two pieces of metal that were welded snapped. I inquired about fixing it and was told that it was out of warranty since it is over a year old. Other chair lifts like my Dad's Pride Mobility lift chair had a 4 year warranty and after 10 years it is still working and in one piece. My advice is spend the extra money on an American made chair lift or at least one with a warranty longer than 1 year. It costs more at first but you don't have to keep buying new parts or chairs every year.

The chair works very well and is comfortable. My parents both have one and it helps them with their mobility issues. My dad has Parkinsons and this helps him to find comfort in resting position and helps him get in a position to stand up (not an easy feat). The chair company hads great customer service. They are quick to reply and work to find a solution when issues arise. Would definitively but again.

The chair is heavy and stable. Super easy to put together only took minutes. Seems very comfortable being used after open heart surgery highly recommend it was a game changer for the patient. It is longer for tall people and the fabric is so soft and plush. Highly recommend.

I am 5.2, I purchased two lift recliner hoping that they would sit higher up off the floor since they are for the big and tall, they are not. These lift recliner’s sits very low to the floor. I have trouble getting up out of a chair that sits so low to the floor. As well as, sitting down on a chair that is so low to the floor. I am only 5.2 with long legs and I have trouble getting up out of these recliners when I don’t use the lift. All of the time I don’t need the lift part of the chair to get up but since they are so low to the floor it makes it difficult.

It came in 2 boxes. The seat is very heavy. My brother said it was the best he's ever purchased and I know he's had at least 3 or 4. It looks good and works smoothly. It goes slow so if you're expecting a carnival ride it will disappoint. Easy to put together ❤️ my brother is around 5'11"" and 350 lbs at least and it has held up. The person I bought it for is 5"7 235lbs and it's working out as expected for a product like this. So would recommend it.

Arrived 2 days early. I ordered the big size for a 6'2" man, about 230 lbs. Appears to fit him well. Assembled pretty easy & seems a little shaky when elevated. Hopefully it will hold up for a while.

I am 6 2" 330.The foot extender has no padding and not long enough for me.Not wide enough for me. Chair motor is slow. Great for average person. Otherwise we'll made. Gave to a smaller friend and she likes it.
