The media could not be loaded. This chair is seriously the best. I searched for a recliner that would go well in our nursery and settled on this one even though I wasn’t crazy about the color. Well I’m glad I got it because I ended up having a c-section and needed something that would go up and down without any core strength from me. Now that it’s in the nursery again, it’s been great because of how quietly it goes up and down. Seriously. I had to include a video that shows how quiet it is. You can hardly hear it! Great for when you have a sleeping baby in your arms. The side pockets are great for stashing books in. The cup holders are great. The usb ports are great. The cushion is very thick. I just love it! I’ve had it for 8 months now, no issues. The one and only thing I would maybe change is I wish the backrest and the foot rest maybe had separate controls. After using the contact seller button on item itself contact was made almost immediately! Great response time. Problem solved. Don’t mess with the customer service number or rely on the email they’ll send you ! You must go thru contact seller option on item on Amazon for fast response. 599.00 for recliner, and the usb ports do not work. I’d I plug in the ports then the remote doesn’t work. But with the usb ports unplugged the remote lights up and chair is operable. And guess what. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTING BEDN WAITING THREE DAY TO HERE FROM TECHS. CRICKETS ! ... show more

I received the chair 2 days earlier than expected. I just put it together and I have to say, it was super easy to assemble. I am using it in my office. My office is not huge and I am replacing my old rocker recliner which was dark brown. I love the beige color and feel that it lightens up the room. The instructions were easy to follow. It suggested that the leg rest was power but that when it was fully extended you would have to use your arms and pushing back to manually move the headrest back to reclining. I didn’t find that to be true. The legs and headrest are power operated! And very quiet as well! I am very happy with my purchase so far. Just to be on the safe side, I purchased a 5 year service plan for a little over $100. For about $20 a year, it covers repairs with no co-pay. I would highly recommend. If anything happens to change my opinion, I will update the review. ... show more

I needed a recliner in a hurry, as I was having shoulder surgery and would have to sleep in a recliner while my shoulder healed. This chair looked ideal, especially because it had a remote to control the headrest and footrest rather than a lever or button on the right side, which I would not be able to operate. It ships in two boxes; one box contains the base and the other the backrest. I received both boxes in the same delivery. You just slide the backrest onto two posts in the base to assemble the chair. Make sure the fit is tight; I didn’t and the back fell off several times until we really pushed it down. The fabric is nice, much better than fake leather and is comfortable. The remote works well and controls both the footrest and headrest. The footrest is long enough for me (I’m 5’, 4”), but if you are 6 feet or taller, it will probably be too short for you. There are two charging ports on the right side which are handy, but one on my chair does not work. After sleeping in this for almost 2 months now, the padding on the arms is shifting a bit and the chair has gotten really squeaky. This is not a piece of fine furniture, nor is it super sturdy and feels as if it leans a bit to the side. When I am able to sleep in a bed again, we’ll probably move this to the game room in the basement for the grandkids to use. If you need a recliner in a hurry and require a remote control for a disability or after surgery when you have to sleep sitting up, this is a pretty good value. I bought this chair about 6 months ago. It was great in the beginning, exactly what I needed after a 3 month stay in the hospital. I needed something I could lay down in but also sit in. Due to nerve damaged damage I suffered in my right hand, I needed something I could open on the left. Not being able to find any chairs that open on the left side manually, I bought this chair which I could hook the remote on the left and operate with my left hand. Fast forward 6 months later, and the chair has essentially died. The remote no longer works, Even after replacing the fuse underneath. Major design flaw with this chair is now that the remote is dead, we cannot open the chair. There is no lever on either side to manually open the chair. So now it's just an oversized rocker. This chair is not made for long time sitting, it's made for reclining. The seat is too deep to be comfortable sitting in for long periods of time , as experienced by myself, who is 5'4", but also by others in the house we are over 6' tall. For $600 I would have expected longer use. Very disappointed. ... show more
