I looked at a lot of accent chairs at different stores as well as Amazon. I had seen a chair very similar to this at a furniture store for $500.00, plus delivery. I read the reviews and decided to take a leap of faith. First, the chair was packed wonderfully, it took me longer to unpack everything than to put it together, I’m 4’9”, 67F, 100lbs, I had no problem, no help. So this is what happened, we loved the chair ( 3 cats, hubs and me) this chair was meant for another room, I ended up rearranging the furniture in the living room, we take turns.     • Awkward angle, doesn't feel ergonomic.

The chair has an awkward angle and doesn't feel very ergonomic. I'd recommend a lumbar support pillow to make this chair wayyy comfier. The actual cushions though are very 'cushiony', I don't feel like I'm sitting on anything hard which is good.

Not my usual style, but replaced a bulky recliner in an office. It makes a huge differece, and I don't miss the reclning function or arms. Easy to relax in this chair. Far less bulk and does not overwhelm the room. Very comfortable and looks nice. It is grey and I am using a pink fluffy throw, as a headrest protector. This was an excellent addition to my son’s dorm room. When we put it together upon arrival at the dorm , some of the holes did not line up at all so only some of the screws could be used . It was just impossible no matter how we tried ( including the facilities staff ) for the holes to line up and so there were literally areas where we would’ve needed a special drill bit to create them. Luckily the holes that were available for the screws to be screwed into were in the areas that provided the support to the seat so that the missing drilled holes were not of consequence to the overall support. ... show more

The chair and ottoman were easy to assemble, look good, and are comfortable. But the reason I'm writing this review is to thank them for their excellent customer service. When the package arrived and we assembled the chair and ottoman, we noticed that the ottoman was missing one of the protective plastic feed that fit onto the metal rails that make up the frame. I contacted the vendor by email and explained the problem. They shipped out a replacement frame which arrived within about a week of the original package. Nice and cushy, loved the color! True to pics. the angle of the back bothers me after about 15 mins. I bought this chair to rest comfortably n read for a few hours, so am disappointed in angle. However, the rest of the chair is awesome.

Love, love, LOVE this chair! It is extremely comfortable, just as all of the other reviews described! I got the burgundy or deep reddish-purple color, and it is beautiful! Some of the other reviews mentioned the color not being true to what was advertised, however, I received what I was expecting. I would say that it is pretty sturdy, and if not, maybe just tighten some screws. All the pieces and parts were included for assembly, but I only needed to assemble the ottoman (very easy) and add the cushion to the back of the chair. Be very gentle when zipping the back closed because the zipper is thin, and a little cheap, and will easily come off track. I was able to fix mine with some small pliers. But the chair is wonderful! The velvet has a nice sheen and is so soft. The seat is oversized and extremely comfortable. I may purchase a second one match the first! ... show more
