I do like how quiet this vent is, but right away we noticed the lightening was dim and cold. (not as advertised). Not a problem, we can just replace the bulbs, right? Not so fast. Try finding the bulb number anywhere. The one sticker-ed to the back of the light doesn't actually exists. Tried going to the Q & A, also not helpful (just go to a hardware store, honestly, I can't imagine it will be there--never seen anything like it). Can't they just tell you what the actual bulb number is? It seems like such a simple thing. All the rest remains to be seen... ... show more

My husband and I did a total kitchen remodel and replaced our microhood with the mcbon vent hood. After many months of waiting for cabinets, countertops, sink, faucets and some new appliances to be delivered, we FINALLY were able to install the vent hood with a custom surround. This vent hood has wonderful, quiet suction, even on high and the lights display my cooking space perfectly. I definitely recommend this vent hood. Customer service was fantastic when one of the flappers arrived broken and a new one was sent out and arrived 3days later. Awesome!! ... show more

When I received the stove vent I noticed I had difficulty inserting and removing one of the stainless steel baffles. I contacted the seller and they got back to me immediately with suggestions. I tried to fix the problem but the latch was still not working properly and I notice the baffle was slightly bent. I contacted the seller again and a new baffle was sent out quickly. Also the manual stated that a carbon filter was on the parts list. I had not received one and it was also sent. Thank you for the quick response and reliable customer service. All in all happy with it. I did however have to remove a screw holding the fan on because it was sticking in so far the fan was hitting it. Also the plastic cling wrap use to protect the finish on the grates was a pain to remove, that being said it did its job an kept the grates from being scratched. ... show more
