I received my cooktop today and thought Id give a little more information on it. In the pictures with dimensions it shows the side at 1/2 tall. That top metal lip is 1/2 inch, how ever its 2 1/4 inches to the bottom of that lip sitting on a table or counter. Its actually 2 3/4 inches tall to the top of the stove lip off the table top it was sitting on. Its another 2 inches to the top of the grates. Sitting on a table top or counter it will be 4/3/4 inches to the top of the grates. There was not much to do to assemble the unit. Pull the sticky protective plastic off of it. Put the aluminum burner spacers ion the corresponding burners. They have holes in the spacers that go over the igniters so its pretty simple. Then put the black caps on top of the spacers and then the Grates . It doesnt show it in the pictures but the gas fitting is directly in the back. It does come with a propane tank to cook top adapter hose with a built in regulator. I bought the recomended 90 degree elbow for the gas line, that allows me to run the supply hose down or to the side which is better for me. It comes ready to use with propane, it does have extra nozzles to change it over to Natural gas if you need to. Once it was hooked up to a propane tank and I tried to light it I found out that you need to push the control knob down as you turn it and light it. Hold down on it when it first lights and turn it to the setting you want it on for use. If you let the knob up to soon it will go out and you have to shut the knob off and start over. Quality is fair its a little flimsy but if its setting on a counter or table it will do the job. The grates are as thick and heavy as the look in the pictures. I will follow up after Ive used a couple times this coming week end and let you know how it performed.

I am extremely disappointed with the quality and performance of this cooktop. After only a few months of regular household use, one of the burners stopped functioning entirely, which is unacceptable for a product at this price point. Upon closer inspection, it became evident that the materials used in the construction are substandard and do not reflect the level of durability or reliability one would expect from a kitchen appliance. The finish has begun to show signs of wear far too soon, and the components feel flimsy and poorly engineered. I would not recommend this product to anyone seeking a long-lasting and dependable cooktop.

This was a huge disappointment as the size that is listed on Amazon shows a depth of 1/2”. When purchased it was in fact 4 1/2” this was too tall for where I wanted to install it. When purchasing be aware that there is a NO RETURN policy for this item. When I called a representative at Amazon and explained the size difference from what was listed, on their site, the representative gave me a complete refund and said, they will have to report this seller as they are reporting the description incorrectly. I needed to send Amazon a picture showing the depth of the actual unit to prove it was not the same as the description on Amazon. I don’t know how the item works as I did not install it, but did receive a refund, thankfully. This unit might be just fine if you can install it with the 4 1/2” in height. The overall measurements are correct with this exception.
